Warm comfortable rooms. Changed our room to accommadate my wifes issue with stairs showing genuine concern
A lovely place, no airs or graces, ran by the most wonderful couple. For those complaining it isn't a hotel, it is actually rebranded as 'Lions Den' and as accommodation so please research this before complaining. The owners were accommodating, informative and helpful and my son would've happily stayed in his room for good! You get what you pay for and more in my opinion and we will definitely return.
(The bed, bedding and pillows were beyond comfortable)!
The bed was very comfortable
There was no offer of breakfast although we were led to believe it was included . The pub itself was closed and had been for many months. Cash only with no card facilities and no internet connection whatsoever.
Central location. Nice comfy bed. Hosts are a lovely couple
No breakfast. No card machine. Shower was warm at best.

Food offering
Very friendly and helpful staff.
I can’t think of anything.
As soon as I arrived, the staff there were friendly, welcoming and so accomodating. I thought I was going to be late but arrived just before the check in time but when I saw they were willing to wait for me to arrive, I genuinely couldn't have been more grateful to them. Great welcome and showed me the room and the building and explained everything, fantastic service, couldn't have wished for better.
The bed was perfect, literally could have fallen asleep as soon as I arrived and almost did as soon as I laid down. Comfortable room and seat to relax in after a long drive and a late arrival, Televison was just what you need and signal was perfect. Shower was clean and everything you could need was provided to get cleaned up. The room was immaculate and genuinely for a short notice booking I was blown away by how nice it was.
I can't say anything I didn't like. Genuinely no complaints at all.
Bed was really comfortable
