Lovely and comfortable room and location, but terrible service.
Pros:

Great location, lovely room, easy check in and check out.

Cons:

I ordered room service at 7.20 am and never received my breakfast, despite sitting at the desk in the room working all morning. They claimed they tried to deliver it, but their ability to knock and make themselves known was non existent…

Will definitely be back, the hotel and there staff were exceptional, having the hotel in a very central location made it
Pros:

It was in a good spot in the city, central to all places

Cons:

The restaurant that’s located in the hotel, (golden finch) one of the staff members were extremely rude, what you paid for, for the buffet breakfast wasn’t worth the price. Based on my experience I wouldn’t go back.

Perfect hotel for a slightly more luxurious stay in the city
Pros:

The room was modern, large and very clean. The location is excellent, is a quieter spot just a block away from the mall. Highly accessible to the city. Breakfast had everything you could want in a buffet and was very fresh.

Cons:

The only thing I didn't like was when I got out of the lift I could notice a slightly musty / mouldy smell in the corridor.

Great location and staff, but definitely not a 5-star experience.
Pros:

The hotel’s biggest asset is its location. Being right in the heart of the Brisbane CBD made it incredibly easy to navigate the city and access local attractions.

The staff were consistently friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

We enjoyed the breakfast buffet; the quality was high and there was a nice variety of options.

Cons:

The rooms are significantly outdated. The furnishings and overall aesthetic felt tired and well behind the curve for a premium hotel brand.

The most significant issue is the 5-star branding. This hotel currently functions more like a solid 4-star property. Advertising it as a 5-star luxury destination sets an expectation that the physical hardware of the hotel simply cannot meet.

If you are looking for a well-located base with good service and don't mind a dated room, this hotel is a fine choice. However, if you are expecting a true 5-star luxury experience, you may want to look elsewhere until a significant renovation takes place.
