I really enjoyed my overnight stay.
Pros:

The location was perfect as I travelled to Canberra on the train, and there’s a bus out the front to the City. The check in was friendly and efficient. My room was spacious and glamorous and clean. I had a great dinner at the restaurant. This is excellent value for money. I was travelling alone and felt comfortable and safe.

Fantastic Location, Staff & Food!
Pros:

I recently stayed at the Ramada by Wyndham Diplomat Canberra and overall had a very enjoyable experience, but the real standout was the restaurant.
The on-site dining exceeded expectations. Breakfast was a highlight—freshly cooked, generous portions, and far better than your typical hotel buffet. Being able to order off the menu made a big difference, and the quality of the food was consistently excellent. Dinner was just as impressive, with well-presented meals and a genuinely “restaurant-quality” experience rather than standard hotel fare.
The bar and restaurant area also had a great atmosphere—relaxed, welcoming, and a perfect place to unwind after a long day. Staff were attentive and friendly, adding to the overall dining experience.
Beyond the restaurant, the hotel itself is comfortable, with clean and spacious rooms and a convenient location close to Canberra’s main attractions.
If there’s one reason to stay here, it’s definitely the food. The restaurant alone elevates the entire experience and makes this hotel a strong choice when visiting Canberra.
Would happily stay again—especially for the dining.

Lovely would stay again if I could get a walk in shower.
Pros:

Room and bed were great. Staff very helpful.

Cons:

Step into bath for shower. Bad knees meant I couldn’t use the shower. But I was only there for a night.

Kostenlose und vor allem richtig vernünftige Waschmaschinen und Trockner sind absolut top.

Cons:

Der Poolbereich könnte ein wenig mehr "Liebe" vertragen. Die Auflagen für die Liegestühle waren zwar bequem, aber es lagen kleine Ästchen und Laub darauf, und teilweise gab es auch Spinnwegen.

Good place to stay but does have soft beds
Pros:

The Ramada is a great hotel. Great location and spacious rooms. Secure parking is great to have. Breakfast was a good deal and very filling. There is a coffee pod machine in the room too

Cons:

Unfortunately, the bed was too soft for us so we did not sleep well. But everything else is fine.
