La chambre est grande et dépaysant et la dame de notre accueil est hyper agréable
Tranquilo, rustico, buena atencion, nos atendieron super bien
Ya no tienen microondas ni cafetera.
Super nice family. The hotel is well located for the different ruins in the neighborhood. Room was very large. Great breakfast in a nice part of the hotel (temple-like).
Bring mosquito repellent 😉
The room was a surprise design wise. The size was large as was the bed with a huge bathing room. There is a huge veranda with lovely lounging area and table where breakfast was served the next morning.
Finding the property was a challenge, but the directions from the host were very helpful.
The air conditioner needed servicing. There were stains on the walls and ceiling - appears to have to do with being in the jungle.
Nothing, totally misleading advert . The property did not resemble any of the photographs.
But the receptionist, who appeared from up the road was very friendly and was obviously used to dealing with dissatisfied guests and cancellations.
1. Property is run down and in a neglected state of repair. The photos on booking.com were taken many years ago and do not represent the present condition of the accommodation
2. The deluxe suite was a dark damp crypt.
3. Barely any water pressure in the bathroom.
4. Furnishings and bedding shabby.
5.UNSAFE - Two doors into the property, bathroom, and bedroom. Sliding doors with no means of locking, no safe. Where can you leave any valuables?
6. The gardens are overgrown and unkempt.
7. Mountain view. WHAT Mountain view? Nothing nearby that even looks like a hill.
8. No hot tub, as advertised.
9. Overpriced and total misrepresentation
The fact that they took more money from my credit card than what was agreed in the booking contract.
The property is not really habitable, and upon cancelling after viewing, they have not refunded 50% of my money as stated in the booking conditions.
I get the impression that this is a scam, drawing people in with false advertising, insisting on prepayment with no intention of refunding when you realise what a hovel it is.
Stunning room design. It is modeled after Mayan architecture and truly unique, we had stayed at nothing like it—they were so close to a stellar experience and needed to get a couple details right to knock it out of the park.
Felt run down—the room smelled damp and moldy, some loose and rusty fixtures (sink faucets, shower soap dispensers), shabby outdoor furniture like lounge chairs, towels with holes (albeit clean). Wifi was slow/inconsistent.
Should note—not the hotels fault or under their control, but if you stay here before Train Maya completion, there is heavy construction and lots of trucks and workers passing by until late and you’d benefit from earplugs. Once construction is complete I don’t imagine this would be an issue.
Not possible to lock the door of the room.
Located in the middle of a construction area (maya train).
At 6 in the morning you wake up due to the heavy trucks.
Nothing
Impossible to sleep with road traffic next to hotel. We left after the first night for a different hotel.
Close to Maya Sites
Nobody there at Night and locked in the hotel
Breakfast in the garden was very good. The staff is very nice and helpful. Nice garden.
Due to the construction of the railway there is noise and dust around. Large trucks drive under the windows all day from early morning to late evening. Parking is on the street.
