Pros:

The staff was friendly and kind and the beds were comfy. The food was really good.

Cons:

The whole room was covered in dust and the A/C didnt work. It turned out that the A/C filter was coated in dust dirt and grime. I cleaned it and put it back. And there were gecko droppings on the tea making tray.

Wir waren dort 3 Nächte und uns hat es gut gefallen, das Zimmer ist recht groß und hatte alles was in dieser Preisklasse zu erwarten ist. Besonders gut hat uns der engagierte Mitarbeiter gefallen, der immer half und ansprechbar war. Das Hotel ist etwas außerhalb, was uns eher gefiel, in 20min ist man zu Fuß auch im Ort.

Cons:

Es gab Abnutzungerscheinungen, die aber in der Preisklasse okay sind, das Hotel wollte wohl mal mehr sein.

Cons:

Falta de limpieza por todos lados, las toallas dejaban mucho que desear. La cama olía fatal (de no cambiar las sábanas) y el baño no estaba para nada limpio. Nos encontramos objetos personales de otros huéspedes detrás de la mesilla (señal de que no hay mucha limpieza). El agua que te dejan en la habitación es del grifo.
Te ofrecen cena pero es muy escasa. El desayunos más de lo mismo. Sinceramente, no repetiría.

Ich empfehle diese Unterkunft weiter, da sie ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis hat.
Pros:

Das Personal war außerordentlich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Verständigung in Englisch war gut. Die Unterkunft liegt 8 Minuten zu Fuß von der Hauptstraße entfernt, sehr ruhig und ländlich. Direkt gegenüber ist ein kleiner sehr freundlicher Kiosk, der kaum Wünsche übrig lässt.
Unser Zimmer war geräumig und hatte einen schönen Balkon.
Das traditionelle Frühstück war sehr gut und abwechslungsreich. Jeden Tag gab es frisches Obst und Manusha hat uns verschiedene Früchte zum probieren gegeben.

Cons:

Unser Zimmer war in einem nicht so guten Zustand und würde einen neuen Anstrich gut vertragen. Leider empfanden wir die Bettwäsche als auch die Handtücher als nicht so »frisch« – natürlich waren sie gewaschen, aber sie hatten Flecken.

Our stay was fine. But it could be better.
Pros:

The location was very quiet and calm, away from the noisy city limits. Good architecture and a recently built hotel. Clean environment and full of greenery.

Cons:

We thought we would receive an English breakfast with bed tea in the morning. However, they have only prepared papaya juice, a fruit plate, some milk rice with sambal and dhal curry, along with some peas, which is unacceptable. Hot water was not provided to the bath area, and difficult to get a shower with cold water at night as the bathroom roof was open to the environment. Lunch and dinner are not prepared at the house. However, you could order from the owner's restaurant located in Dambulla town. We have experienced a power cut during the stay, and the hotel generator was run for about 3 hours. However, the diesel-powered generator is not capable enough to provide electricity to operate the ceiling fan or the air conditioning machine. Although the wifi is available in the hotel, we had to ask for the password from the service guy. But, we could not connect to the written network as it was not shown in our device.

Cons:

The door lock in the room was not locking properly. There were some electrical cables near to the coffee making setup in the room which were completely unsafe and not properly insulated.

Pros:

Everything was nice. The hotel was clean and the hotel staff very friendly and at your service whenever you need something. They were fast. The hotel owner also has a restaurant in town and all the food recommendations!
