Location. Most comfortable bed ever! The peace is divine with great views from our room. Animals nearby. Several good village pubs within a 2 mile radius. Discount for castle entrance and food and drink should you not have visited before.
Slow with communication when requiring codes for accessing property etc. Caused great frustration and worry.Last minute.com. Lights in the hall and leading upstairs did not work. Poorly and dangerously lit, despite all the lights. Oversized furniture and outdated room. Had property to ourselves . Felt a little strange. Expensive for what you get with no breakfast included. Paying for tge location and who it belongs to.
excellent location and comfortable room, albeit without a window that opened
windowless room 7
Very quirky rooms. Quiet location, comfortable beds
No breakfast available, no normal tea bags in room.
Location for Belvoir Castle and the engine room restaurant and the farm shop
I was in the attic, so had the house been full of guests, It would have felt a bit awkward sharing a bathroom / toilet. Plus it would have been very noisy with doors slamming etc.
No food on the premises, adjacent food and drink outlets close at 5.00 pm so very quiet.
The property suited us nicely though a little strange as we were the only couple at the property.
Nice quiet location and well appointed room. Very convenient for visiting Belvoir Castle.
Everything in the locality (including the Bistro) closes at 5pm, therefore have to go 'off-site' to eat in the evening (good pub restaurant ('The Checkers Inn') in next village (Woolsthorpe by Belvoir)).
Needs TLC
Everything - unbelievable views, great property and value for money
Nothing
Great sized room
Great tea and coffee in room... lots!
Room was cold
Great location and facilities
Good location
Poor communication, lack of heating on coldest day of year, no staff on site, pretty well left to our own devices to sort out all the issues.
Comfortable room with great views
Couple of small things, being on the largerside the bath towels were a little on the small side and I would have liked a box of tissues
Nearness to Belvoir Castle.
Bathroom facilities in the room.
Very comfortable, quality furnishings
Beautiful setting, the room itself was also very beautiful and worked extremely well as a family. Our girls had a separate room attached to ours by a connection door, which gave them a little space of their own, they loved this.
The beds were very comfortable (I am a bit of a princess and a pea, so this is very important to me).
The only one thing I would say, just a little thing the light shade in the main bedroom, although beautiful is a bit low, my husband hit his head on it a few times.
Privacy, large superior room with exceedingly comfortable bed, settee and arm chair. View was great, wish I’d booked 2 nights instead of just 1 night. We will return but due to other commitments it will not be until 2025
What’s not to like!
Beautiful place beautiful decor
Room was cold
Lovely location for castle ..if arriving by bike or foot be aware the nearest spot to eat after 5/6 i pm is in the pub 1 and 1/2 miles down the hill
Needs some hooks to hang up your wet towels. Generally very comfortable
