Pros:

We had a very pleasant stay here. Location is just perfect, just a few minutes from Hagia Sophia, staff was helpful and very welcoming, especially administrator Merve and a restaurant’s staff (by the way, breakfast was also very good, a lot of options and with a great selection of fresh vegetables and sweets). Overall, very nice choice if you want to stay in the European part of Istanbul.

Lovely stay
Pros:

The location is superb in such a cute quaint street with colorful art all around. Staff was nice and friendly and they tried to make us feel welcome at all times. The inside decor was authentic Turkish style which enhanced our view of the hotel. Loved the breakfast area and the terrace in the back to catch the sun. Easy access to local transportation though the hotel also offers taxis.

Cons:

Loved the ppl and the stay, few recommendations would be: 1) someone should have let us know there was a terrace available. We normally do not go exploring so we did not know there was a terrace available for viewing, we could have had lunch there or something :D and 2) cleanliness was superb but somehow the last day we were there they forgot to clean our bathroom. The beds were made and we had fresh towels but the hairs from brushing my hair were still there and there was no extra roll of toilet paper. 3) I would have like to see scrambled eggs every morning :)

Very well located. The staff are very professional and helpful. It is also very clean. The balcony rooms are light and airy

The roof top restaurant was closed all month whiçh was disappointing. I think this should have been made clear on Booking.com

Friendly and Cozy Atmosphere

AviCenna Hotel is a welcoming place that creates a calm, stress-free vacation atmosphere.

Positives

Location
The hotel is in a quiet area surrounded by small hotels and a few restaurants. There is little traffic and almost no road noise. The street is well lit with decorative lights and the alleyway is distinctive and easy to recognize.

Style
The hotel has a clear style without feeling overly strict or formal, which makes the environment comfortable and relaxed.

Staff
Staff members are friendly, polite, and respectful. The reception desk is always available, and questions or requests are handled quickly. One minor issue: one of our rooms regularly received only minimal room service, while the other room was serviced properly.

Facilities
All listed facilities were available with no surprises. The Wi-Fi worked flawlessly the entire time with stable speed and no dropouts.

Restaurant
The restaurant on the third floor became a highlight of the stay. What seemed like a convenient backup turned out to be an excellent choice. The food was very good, portions were generous, water was free, and prices were competitive with nearby restaurants. The large windows provide a beautiful panoramic sea view, overlooking the old rooftops often visited by seagulls and stray cats.

Fantastic stay in Istanbul

The location was simply perfect, great location, fantastic roof top terrace with beautiful views. The staff were so helpful, very accommodating. Would definitely recommend & would stay here again if coming to Istanbul.
