An amaizing stay
Pros:

Great room size for value, the staff were great and very helpful. Definitely would stay there again!

Cons:

The only thing was the key for room 8, was getting stuck sometimes, but that isn't even worth to complain about.

A charming stay in a cozy historic building with a comfy bed and resident kitty
Pros:

Very pleasant stay. The hotel is located in a beautiful historic building that has been nicely converted while keeping its character. I visited during a very cold period, and the room was warm and cozy, which I really appreciated. The bed was very comfortable and I slept well. Breakfast was simple but perfectly adequate.

Visitors should also know that there is a kitty living on the premises. We really enjoyed playing with her, but guests with allergies should be aware. Overall, a charming and comfortable place to stay.

Cons:

A couple of things to keep in mind: the hotel is a bit farther from the historic center, though still within comfortable walking distance. Our room was also rather dimly lit, with just one small window. The bathroom has a glass door - I understand this likely helps make the space feel larger and brings in light from the bathroom window, but it doesn’t provide much sound or smell insulation, which may feel a bit awkward even for couples.

It was also a busy weekend with many guests, and breakfast seemed a bit poorly organized. We often had to wait for food to be refilled, freshly brought pancakes were already cold, and some items (like cucumbers) looked quite dried out.

Patīkami pārsteidza iekārtojums un dažādi interjera priekšmeti, mēbeles, gleznas, kā īstā muižā.
Pros:

Tā kā bija ziema un darba diena, mēs bijām maz apmeklētāji šajā dienā, speciāli priekš mums bija uzklāts zviedru galds, meitene speciāli priekš mums cepa pankūkas un omleti ar bekonu, ļoti patika, sajutāmies kā muižkungi.

Very nice
Pros:

Nicely restored and decorated historical manor in a small park out of the center, with free parking, possibility to charge electric car (one 22 kW AC spot) and rich breakfast. Overall very good option to stay in this beautiful town.

Cons:

Not big issues just to consider:
- manor is 15 min walk from the old town's center
- no restaurant in place
- property is surrounded by soviet-era buildings

Skaista, eleganta viesnīca ar īpašu interjeru, sajūta, ka esi nokļuvis citā laikmetā. Ļoti tīrs, ērts un vispārīgi lielisks numurs, nav ko sliktu piebilsts. Garšīgas brokastis un laipns personāls.
