Dear Sir or Madam,

As requested, here is my feedback on the hotel.

I chose this hotel because it presents itself as a four-star boutique hotel, and because the photographs looked beautiful and the hotel appeared to be quiet, charming and special. Unfortunately, the reality was a profound disappointment. I expected a great deal more and was extremely let down.

The room

First of all, the room was very, very small. There was no proper wardrobe, no shelf for clothes, and no storage space. There was only one small side table in the room, and even that was a very cheap IKEA-style piece of furniture that was completely inappropriate for a four-star hotel. The other table was to big ft There was no bedside table or proper place to put clothes and personal belongings.

The room was also not particularly clean. Not everything can be photographed, of course, but even the beautiful vintage furniture was visibly dirty in places. The handles are turning black and clearly need proper cleaning, the upholstery is worn, and the beds were uncomfortable.

For a four-star hotel, these are basic necessities. At the very least, I would expect a refrigerator in the room. There wasn't even one.

The bathroom and shower

The bathroom was poor, cramped and simply not appropriate for a four-star hotel. The face mirror is barely 15 cm wide. The shower is extremely narrow, old and poorly maintained, with the cheapest possible shower head and absolutely none of the comfort or pleasure one would expect from a four-star boutique hotel.

A larger person, whether a man or a woman, would have considerable difficulty even getting into that tiny shower enclosure. There seems to have been very little thought given to the comfort of the guest.

To make matters worse, the shower hose actually came apart in my hand the very first time I tried to use it. When I complained about this, I was told that I apparently did not know how to use it correctly.
