Thomas Bangkok Hotel

1. Noisy fridge which was placed by the bed side. Regular noise from it through the night which is very disturbing (we have 2 rooms which have the same issues)
2. Poor sound insulation, loud door closing, walking along corridor etc
3. No tv channels, only YouTube else own Netflix subscription

This hotel is not great. Uncomfortable pillows, no slippers, no TV channels, walls paper thin and very noisy. Would not recommend to stay here. I left eraly and found a much better one about 600m away. Was worth forfeiting the cash to do this.

The Thomas hotel offers a great location and courteous service. The rooms are clean and stylish but minimalist. Natural light comes via one frosted window in the bathroom and filters through French doors. Those expecting a view or closet or wardrobe

Most inflexible hotel and the worst staff. Unable to accommodate for early check-in, late check-out or quiet room. Breakfast was also so bad with the food running out an hour before breakfast time is over. Train runs every hour with loud horns every hour starting at 6:30am in the morning. They provide ear plugs in the room and think that suffice for you to put up with the train noise. TV requires you to sign in with your personal Netflix or Youtube account or else you live with Thai local tv. Room has no windows, closet, nor luggage rack. You have to hang your clothes in the bathroom where it is damp and humid so they can smell like wet socks. The worst hotel in this area for this price range.

We booked 2 standard king rooms on 24-25th January room #214, #215 on Level 2 and the other room on Level 5 (top floor) 29-31 Jan'25.

We were greeted by lovely young ladies at the front desk when we arrived. Our rooms were away from lifts/roads/train tracks and close to each other as we requested in advance.

We found room #215 was quieter than #214. The funny thing is... Hotel Thomas's soundproof was way better than 5star hotel, Lebua at State Tower Bangkok. My hubby and I had a room on Level 22 at Lebua but had a bad sleep due to traffic noise. Flat tv screen here is 3 times larger than one at Lebua! Not only conplimentary bottled water but also Coke and Sprite. More toiletries in bathroom and small cute cake on Chinese New Year was provided in our bed tho. Thumps up, you beat a famous 5star hotel 😍

Excellent location near Skytrain BTS Phaya Thai and Airport Rail Link. Easy to travel around Bangkok and get to the airport. Unique hotel with charming decor. Reasonably priced tho. Highly recommended. Will be definitely returning 🩷

P.S. Watch out your step when you walk into the shower or you probably hurt yourself. Pls see photos on my review.

Location: superb. Just 3’ walk from BTS Tuck beautifully inside very crowded road. Closed to many cafes stores 7 eleven factory cafe street foods and w**d stores, it’s legal here
You can go far with bts and metro in Bangkok
Room: enough for 2 persons with big bath tub
They have smart tv with Netflix
Amenities: has small garden to sit and quiet. Don’t have pool
Didn’t try breakfast here
Will come back again for sure

Hotel Thomas Bangkok is conveniently located in the heart of the city, just a 15-minute walk from Siam Paragon Mall and Pratunam Market, with easy access to public transportation. The quaint hotel features clean rooms with comfortable beds, and the generously sized bathroom includes a chic bathtub and separate shower. However, there is no wardrobe, so hanging clothes in the bathroom may be necessary. While the location offers great dining options nearby, be aware of train noise in the mornings. Overall, it’s a pleasant stay with a charming atmosphere.

Been back here twice. Liked the spacious bedroom and separate shower n tub. But this time round, I did a hair colour at a salon and stained this towel. Yes I should pay for the damage but the towel was not a new towel so felt a little aggrieved having to pay 700 baht for deep cleaning.
