A great place to stay and to eat with a really relaxed vibe.
Pros:

It’s in a great location and my room was excellent. It was compact but really well thought out with a good view over the port. The breakfast was great and the food in the evening was exceptional. The restaurant had a really lovely vibe. The hotel arranged bike hire for me before I arrived and arranged luggage forwarding while I was there. The staff across the board were friendly and helpful.

An unexpected delight in an out of the way location
Pros:

Whilst the room did not have its own bathroom, it was big and well furnished with lots of light. But the best was the restaurant - the food was fantastic

Pros:

A lovely place to stay for a night while we cycled the Shimanami Kaido. However, other than going to the restaurant for your booked slot, there isn't anything to do in the evening, particularly after sunset.

Cons:

The room & food were very nice but quite expensive in comparison to other places we stayed in Japan. It was nice but I wouldn't stay again.

Beautiful boutique accommodation. We loved our cubicle style accommodation and the restaurant served beautiful food with a fun atmosphere.

Cool spot by the sea
Pros:

Alongside the hotel SOIL have a shop, restaurant, coffee place, shop and community library. Having access to all of these facilities was brilliant as we were cycling the Shimanami Kaido. Every staff member we encountered was super friendly and helpful, even allowing us to borrow a converter which we had forgotten. The views from many rooms and from the restaurant are lovely.

Cons:

Nothing really - we stayed above the restaurant and could hear breakfast in the morning but it wasn't a problem at all for us.

Location was decent, the room was clean, but not a great value.
Pros:

It was clean.

Cons:

The lack of customer service in instructing us of our room location. Our room was in a building away from the reception desk and we were verbally told where it might be. Until we had someone escort us, there was no way we could have found it on our own.

Rooms are an excellent modern functional design.
Food is a superb blend of traditional and western.
Staff friendly and effective.
Excellent secure srea for your bikes plus charging available foe e-bikes.
Fantastic location.
