We always love staying at The Rasmus, but this time the restaurant was closed and we couldn't even order a black coffee. Our AC stopped working at night and we tried to phone the telephone numbers provided and searched for staff, but we couldn't reach anybody.

Quality at its best!!
Pros:

It was in the City area but felt like we were on a farm! No noise and the Bird Life was amazing to hear! Very safe to stay, security very good. A few Donkeys and Cattle to view that was nice! The atmosphere of the dining area and the fish pond was amazing! Staff very professional and friendly! The accommodation was very modern and the interior and bedding 5 star! Breakfast was also exceptionally good! Will definitely be back!

Excellent food, friendly staff, beautiful property, wildlife and perfect service.

My favourite this was of course, the Koi fish and all of the helpful staff members, I had to be in Pretoria for an operation, so I was really not feeling good, the staff were so kind and went out of their way to make me feel comfortable.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Their food is AMAZING, I had the fig and wine fillet for dinner and it was honestly the best fillet I've ever had, everything about this place was amazing if I could give it 6 stars I definitely would !

Country feel close to the city
Pros:

Delightful farm ambience, lovely decor and clean linen and towels. Conveniently close to motorways without the noise. Nice to see wildlife and to be in so much space.

Cons:

We were disappointed not to have room service since we arrived in the afternoon and were hungry. We ended up having to go foraging for food. It was not far, but the delay meant we were unable to sample the dinner menu.

The Rasmus is, without a doubt, a true oasis in the capital city.

The rooms are beautifully appointed, showcasing an impeccable sense of style and comfort. I particularly appreciated the artwork throughout the hotel. The outdoor spaces are equally enchanting. The spectacular koi fish pond in the gardens provides a perfect space for quiet reflection, and the opportunity to wake up to buck and calves grazing in the distance is truly delightful.

What truly sets The Rasmus apart, however, is the staff. They are dedicated, professional, helpful, and genuinely friendly, ensuring every need is met with a warm smile.

While I didn't dine in, the breakfast was good.

The Rasmus has instantly become my hotel of choice in Pretoria, and I look forward to my next stay!
