Booked at short notice, guesthouse was undergoing renovation so was a little chaotic but the workmen were very helpful and directed us to our rooms. No check in ,but clear instructions from the owner as to keysafe details etc. No breakfast on site but again a recommendation of a local place that was excellent and good value . The room was basic, but clean, recently painted and comfortable for the 1 night we needed. Nice touch of mini toiletries and biscuits.
No where in the bathroom to put anything, had to put everything on the floor , could do with a shelf and maybe a hook behind the door .
Size of room, dog friendly and location of the room.
Bit bright in the morning, even with the curtains closed
I had very low expectations. This was booked on the day and was the only place i vould find in the area. But it was better than i thought it would be. It was clean
As a solo traveller, i was not 100% sure of my safty as no staff on site
The location was a 10 minute walk into Pwllheli and 2 minute walk to the beach. We had breakfast at Buffers in the train station and that was lovely! Lush bacon roll and hot cappuccino
Its very outdated. The room was okay, fairly clean but the en suite was shabby. Broken toilet seat and old bathroom cabinet that pulls over when you open the door of it. We didnt use the shower as it didnt feel clean. The corridors smelt funny and the doors to the rooms were were squeaky as hell. You could see some of the sea if you stuck your head out of the window but couldn't see it through them as they were filthy. The WiFi didnt work and the A/C was non existent. No fridge, just a kettle and a couple of dirty cups. We wouldn't stay here again.
The place was close to the beach
The room smells. The pillows are old and the corridor smells
There were no staff. The entrance is old and unappealing
Location
Uncomfortable beds no bar no staff onsite. Quality of the room not worth the price paid would not stay there again

Our experience at Victoria Guest Accommodation & Studio Apartments was absolutely dreadful and felt like a complete scam. We booked for two nights but could not bring ourselves to stay the second night because of the appalling conditions. The room was extremely dirty. The walls, doors, and carpets all looked like they had not been properly cleaned or refreshed in years. Most disgustingly, the bed sheet on my wife’s bed was stained (picture), which immediately made us question the hygiene standards of the entire property.
What was also completely unacceptable was the bathroom situation. We were expected to share one shower and one toilet with another room, but the bathroom was not even on the same floor. We had to go up a narrow and steep public staircase just to use it, which was both inconvenient and shocking considering this was never made clear in a reasonable way when booking. The most unbelievable part is that we paid £92 per night for this. For that kind of money, we expected at least basic cleanliness and comfort, not conditions that made us want to leave immediately.
Needless to say, we ended up leaving and booking a proper hotel elsewhere because staying there any longer was simply not an option. This was the worst accommodation experiences we have ever had, and we would strongly warn others not to waste their money here.
There was no breakfast included
We only had hot water for 1 of the 2 days the hot water tap in the kitchen didn't work and there was no shower the beams are so low my husband banged his head in the night and got a black eye
Beds, towels
A long way from anywhere that served breakfast at 8am.
A long walk from the railway station.
No reception staff
The velox windows were left open due to the unseasonal heat but a rain storm occured and water poured onto one of the beds. We left a note but I would have been helpful if staff had been on hand.
The guy I spoke to, Harvey was very helpful when we needed to get into the property.
The Mattress was extremely poor quality, the scatter cushions were really smelly, the carpet was dirty and sticky.
I used to work in Pwllheli so I know my way around ... the pillows were the best I've ever slept on ... seriously I've stayed in many hotel's/B&Bs they were so comfy
Not complaining we had a free workout going up & down the stairs
Apart from the list below.. it was a lovely place
TV didn't work ... it kept going off,
There was no bin for rubbish,
There was no teaspoon to stir the coffee/'tea
We got woke up at 5am by someone banging/kicking a door
Property is in a good location by the sea and ten mins walk into the town
Bed was very uncomfortable and the shower was cold. Coffee facilities but no teaspoon.
The Property was very basic.
Other guests coming in 2am very loud past the room.
Close to train station and market centre
