Nice hotel , the staff were friendly , they made our stay comfortable, food was ok
Pool was a heated one which the kids could enough
The staff were good and they even packed us a breakfast for our day trip which started early
Special mention to Mr Adithya , (the Manali travels )in the travel desk who arranged a trip to Rohtang pass without prior notice , would recommend him to anyone planning local tours there

We stayed at Woodrock Hotel from 3rd to 7th May 2026. The hotel overall was good, and the stay was comfortable in terms of location and basic facilities. However, there were a few service-related issues that disappointed us.

The response from the reception and housekeeping staff was very casual. Whenever we called for any service, we usually had to call two or three times before anyone attended to it. This became frustrating during the stay.

Another issue was cleanliness. On multiple occasions, we received stained bed sheets and towels, which we had to get replaced repeatedly. Room cleaning and housekeeping were also not up to the mark and definitely need improvement.

We had also taken an extra bed for our 7-year-old child and were charged Rs. 1500 per day extra for it. However, only a mattress was provided — no cot and not even an additional pillow. When we requested a pillow, the staff told us that the Rs. 1500 charge was only for the mattress and asked us to adjust with the existing pillows, which was quite disappointing.

The hotel has potential and the stay could have been much better with more attentive service and better housekeeping standards.

However Restaurant was too good. Daily we had breakfast and dinner there, food was excellent and also all the restaurant staffs were very courteous and well behaved towards all diners.

My expeirience was bitter truth but the fact is this hotel so called woodrock is nothing but the bunch of complaints starting from
1. I am staying this hotel 2nd time but service is continuesly down and down and so on
2. Their room prices are higher than any good hotel in manali but their service is bad
3. They never listen your request but to impose their ruthless hotel service rules no matter if you pay 7000 rs a day
4. Staff is rude and earless
5. Dont know how they manage have good reviews on tripadvisor as i doubt all good reviews are fake

Highly advise to all better book through offline agents instead off online travel

Worst experience ever with this pathetic hotel, literally staff and management both are arrogant and highly unprofessional ,

Ever after paying full payment my client had to face the big embarrassment as no service , nothing in washroom no dental kiy no shaving kit even after they demanded so many times hotel was full in denial mode,

Food was worst and service was super late as you hardly find anything in their buffet in breakfast as well in their lunch

I made same complaint several times but staff and management showed no courtesy to reply back

I requested to early check out but they rejected to pay my balance amount

Listen to all traveller and travel agent don't ever book this hotel they are fraud and never book their hotel with full advance

It was a wonderful experience staying here. They are very professional and the rooms and views are just excellent. Must stay if you plan with your family.
