Pros:

The purpose of my visit was to be within transport distance to Scafell Pike.

I travelled to Seascale as a backpacker Via public transport with walking distance

Breakfast - delicious

Co Op is great for restocking food essentials.

King wok - Chinese takeaway

With other amenities locally

Accomodation
Very tidy and well kept.

Greeted by Angela - superstar! And willing to go the extra mile to please all guests and provided a homely family like welcome & stay!

Picturesque hotel, Friendly staff with gorgeous beach nearby.
Pros:

Excellent stay, only stayed one night for work. room, breakfast and staff all good.
Pros:

Breakfast was great, I forgot to ask for poached eggs but I'm sure I could have had them. The fried eggs were nice anyway.
Room was extremely comfortable and clean.

Angela and Paul were exceptional hosts; and a lovely; friendly and down to earth couple; going above and beyond to help my make my husbands birthday a memorable one. Nothing was too much trouble; they were so helpful and informative of things to do and places to go in the local area. Breakfast was fantastic; the room was spotless and comfortable. Beautiful location. Will definitely be returning for a longer stay.

Pros:

Nice message from hosts. Cleanliness. Fan in room as it was hot. Ease of whole stay. Breakfast - good size, quality ingredients. Meaty bacon no fat. Ice in water ! Plenty of pillows. Nice bed. The grounds with picnic benches

Cons:

Carpet. Carpet always seems dated wherever it is. It was clean but it would take this place up a notch to have wooden floors like in restaurant.

A good hotel, can’t knock it, nice and warm breakfast could be served a little later but hey ho.

Cons:

The bed was a little hard and breakfast could be served a little later. However I must say that the hotel host did make us a lovely breakfast butty to take away which was waiting for us at the bottom of the stairs.

Good B&B in a rather unremarkable place but very close to the fells
Pros:

The breakfast was the best part of the stay. Very friendly and helpful owners.

Cons:

Our room was extremely small and the bathroom too. The bed was very narrow. No place to set our bags and let garments dry out. Surrounding nit very attractive. Lots of rain
