Friendly and hardworking staff who made a big difference to the experience
Pros:

The staff are 5star. It will be hard to find better friendlier staff anywhere in the world. They are the absolute stand out. I stayed at this property 12th sea ago and the staff were incredible then also. Stand out staff would be Sami in the pool are, Tavita for the cocktail and rum tasting, I was so impressed by the staff's dedication during the storm. I particularly noticed the team working near Room 212; they were constantly clearing water from the walkways to keep guests safe. It was a massive, non-stop effort, and their hard work didn't go unnoticed. They deserve huge credit for going above and beyond

Cons:

The food selection and overall standard did not meet the level I would expect from a five-star resort. The variety was limited and the quality of the dishes was disappointing.

I was also surprised by the additional cost required to access the Waitui Club facilities. While I understand the concept of exclusivity, it created the feeling of a two-tier experience within the hotel. Charging a significant premium for access to the adults-only pool and restaurant, while other paying guests are unable to use certain areas of the property, felt unreasonable and detracted from the overall experience.

Poor value for money for a good brand.. Will not stay here again

Room Service was very poor
Housekeeping did not do basic things like replace used water bottles etc
There was a slight smell in the room
Internet not working, but despite requests, no one came and i had to fix it myself.
Overcharged my stay. Will raise an issue re this.
