Fantastic and will be returning despite having to carry my clubs and walk to the course at 78!!
Pros:

Another all round very enjoyable stay. We've been 5 times since the hotel opened as well as staying at other Denarau resorts during that time. Always a relaxing experience

Cons:

Hotel needs to sort out transport to the golf club and stop saying they can't take guests because of an agreement with the local taxis.

Love our stay at Sofitel Fiji
Pros:

We loved the daily activities available for everyone, especially the kids activities. We want to shout out to all the staff there, they are all so nice and very helpful. Especially Zack, he was so patients with our kids and made their holiday a lot more fun. They also have live music at night from Thu-Sun at Suka Bar, this is great spot to just sit and relax before ending the night. Lastly, we loved the massage at the Spa. One of the best massages I've ever had.

Cons:

The wifi around the pool area is not so great. And there is only 1 restaurant open during the day, we stayed for a week and it felt like we were eating almost the same thing. There is only 1 Asian restaurant in the resort which by the way all the dishes we tried tasted so good. However, it only opens for dinner. My son loves his rice, so he had the same thing for almost a week. Wish they also have Asian food options during the day.

Very welcoming from the start and rooms were clean. The adult section very attentive. Gardens and surroundings lovely.
Pros:

Check in and check out was great experience. Gardens and lawns beautiful. Staff remembered your names. Journal lounge was great and staff attentive.

Cons:

Two dining experiences Waitui and Madam So was not great given the prices.

We did enjoy our stay with family, the staff are excellent!!
Pros:

The staff were friendly and it was very clean!

Cons:

The rooms always smelt musty and I thought the buffet could have been changed up a bit!
I also think being a family hotel they should have a restaurant suitable for families.

Nice but disappointing
Pros:

Staff were amazing. Beautiful grounds and having Fiji air check-in is great.

Cons:

Unfortunately I don’t see this as a 5 star resort like Others we have stayed in. I have dietary restrictions and informed staff when ordering to omit certain foods and on 2 occasions my meal arrived with foods and I am unable or eat. When I returned one it came back correct but cold.
For a hotel Like Sofitel I was surprised at the beds. I had to add a pillow to the bed where my body lies to fill in the dip in the mattress where it sank. (I did tell staff about this )
Further the pillow was horrendous so I had to pay $80 bond to get another pillow where other hotels just offer them to you.
The pool is big and lovely but has multiple inflatables for kids so if you want a quiet swim I suggest go adults only area which we did at another resort and should have done here.

Everything we dream of in a family holiday with our girls
Pros:

The pool with the slides and obstacles was a huge hit with the girls aged 4 and 6, and the staff, especially Save were awesome with the kids and the reason we'll keep coming back! And Miss Banana in the kids club and Va organising the tours. It really is the happiest place and our favourite place

Fantastic resort with awesome staff
Pros:

The Waituia Beach Club access was absolutely fantastic- the staff could not do enough for you and bonus being adults only. So close to port Denerau, we walked there in 15 minutes. The buffet breakfast was up there with the best we’ve had. The place was so clean- there was always someone cleaning. Romeo on the bar was a lot of fun.

Overall we enjoyed the stay and the premises was most satisfactory.
Pros:

Breakfast was excellent and wonderful coffee. Sometimes service was a little longer than expected. Fiji time, I guess. The room was neat fresh and always clean. The layout of the room was not that functional with the vanity forming part of the room instead of the bathroom. Not that functional.

Cons:

Too many children. we are an older couple.
