Cons:

My gosh, some of the worst food I’ve ever eaten at this quality of resort. The breakfast buffet was really disappointing, and the food by the pool was truly barely edible. The wifi is outrageously bad. And I had a manicure / pedicure during my stay here at the spa, and it was truly the worst I’ve ever had.

Comfortable one night stay, unfortunately cut short.
Pros:

The pool area was lovely and the restaurant staff were standout, they went to the effort of learning our names and used them later in our stay when they saw us next. Koko was an incredible dining experience and easily the best Pacific cuisine we've eaten anywhere. The breakfast buffet was amazing and catered to all tastes and preferences.

Cons:

The pillows in the room were terrible, thank goodness there was an option to upgrade them. Our biggest disappointment was having to check out before 10:00am to get an airport transfer for a 2:00pm fligh. When we got to the airport at 10:15am we were advise check-in didn't open until after 11:00am so we could've spent another hour by the pool and checked out at 11:00am as usual! We were also disappointed that we had to purchase bottled water at the restaurants and tap water wasn't provided, especially as the Sofitel promotes sustainability and provides water refill stations throughout the resort. This didn't add up.

Great break in Denarau
Pros:

we upgraded to the Waitui Club this visit and were not disappointed! The service was excellent and the staff so so friendly

Cons:

The Bazaar Kitchen was disappointing this visit ... not nearly as many options as in 2024 and food quality was not up to previous standards

Love the Sofitel - but the accomodation cost!. Makes Asia attractive despite longer flights
Pros:

Staff are fantastic - very friendly. Gardens are beautiful.

Cons:

The linens on the bed (pillows particularly) smelt musty - we had to put towels over them.

Access to beach club at $220 per head - not worth it really but it is a lovely spot.

Very nice resort, but if you want a nice beach, totally skip this resort.
Pros:

The hotel grounds were absolutely beautiful. The staff were very kind. The rooms were a nice size and rooms were clean. I liked the added lounge area for snacks and drinks.

Cons:

The spa was lacking a lot of common amenities for a five star resort. They should have a steam shower or sauna, a place to relax with comfortable chairs and light music in the back ground. Maybe red light therapy or cold plunge. The chafing area was also very underwhelming.
