Lovely old building
Private party could be heard clear as day in the room until gone 11pm. Very disturbing and couldn’t even watch tv as it drowned it out.
close to the beach
Nice staff
Good breakfast
room was a little dated and need a few things fixing in it.
The Staff were nice and helpful, and the hotel was kept clean. The food was nice but a ittle cold.
The Shower was stuck on Boiling unusable and very dangerous, the bedside lights had no bulbs. The mattress was very lumpy and gave m husband a bad back. There was not enough staff on, if you wanted a drink you had to wait for the receptionist to cme and serve you. Not the staff's fault.
The Hotel is very run down and no improvements have been made since our last visit in 2019 despite being taken over by Mr Singh, needless to say we will not be returning.
Would certainly give fawlty (Faulty) Towers a run for it's money.
brilliant breakfast

All fine.
Nothing.
The hotel location is brilliant. Close to the beach and also close to the main shopping street in Skegness.
No one in the dining room to help with where to sit. If you are on a package deal, dinner, bed and breakfast. Your name is on your allocated table. This works for evening meal and breakfast. If you are only bed and breakfast, but decide to have evening meal in the bistro, I think you have to find a table without a name on it or a reserved sign. Breakfast use any table with a green menu on it and no name.
It was pretty quiet when we went so the bar on an evening wasnt busy. Still there were no permanent bar staff on duty, so you have to wait until the receptionist is free. Though to be honest the wait wasnt too long. I hope when it is busy they put more staff on. Most of the staff do work extremly hard doing multi jobs. I will mention Jenny. She is the evening waitress and really fantastic. She works so hard, and is always under pressure, but her professionalism is outstanding. The entertainment is the usual holiday singer. Be warned though, there is a regular singer who really shouldnt be allowed.
There were no hand towels available, only bath sheets. I understand this is been addressed.
Cleaning in public areas seems to be a problem too. Cobwebs on windows and walls. Marks on one of the sofas in the bar.
But overall the stay was ok.
Will probably go back just to see if there has been any improvements.
check in ,bar ,parking
better place to do makeup in room, breakfast not great
Conveniently placed for a short walk into the Skegness centre and plenty of parking.
This was my second visit in a year and the dining room at breakfast time is like a furnace! It is unbearably hot, and I could hear other guests complaining. I mentioned it to the receptionist who stated it was a problem with the heating. I did comment that it was the same last year and that they need to sort it.
The room was very ‘tired’ and in desperate need of a little ‘tlc’ but it was clean.
Overall, not good value for money.
The breakfast was nice. The views perfect

Bathroom in need of attention
Lovely, clean room. Perfect location. Very friendly staff. We would definitely go back.
Lovely hotel, only thing was the room was very hot, and there was no option to turn off the heating. The radiator was awkwardly placed behind the bed. Once you entered the hotel it went from a winters day to tropical. We slept in our underwear with the windows open. There was no phone in the room either. In hindsight we should have reported it to staff but we were only staying for one night and by the time we realised just how hot it was at night, we just couldn't be bothered to go all the way downstairs again.
The breakfast was excellent room ok location good
Good location easy access to hotel v and room. Breakfast was OK
Double bed was way to small made for a very uncomfortable night. Bathroom was very small as well very difficult to get on and off toilet even for a small person. Sink was very small couldn't even get my hands underneath to cup water to wash no shelf or handrail for towels. One rad worked other one didn't, couldn't adjust the one that did. Curtains didn't cover the windows meaning light coming through in early hours. Had to open windows as it became to hot in room, so not very efficient for the hotel bills.
