The stay did not meet with my expectations
Pros:

The location of the hotel was very good and the initial impression was also
Good .

Cons:

The room decor was very dated and in poor condition. The ceiling had peeling wood chip wallpaper and the paint was flaking in the bathroom.
At breakfast the wait to be served was a very long time.

Pros:

The staff upon arrival were lovely and helpful, the room was as described with a lovely comfy bed. We also had breakfast in the morning, lovely waiting staff and food was great

Exceptional, really fantastic, thoroughly enjoyable, had an amazing time.
Pros:

Staff were really friendly, Ross on Reception was extremely helpful and welcoming, and the lady manager was very friendly. Hotel had welcoming, relaxed, quiet feel. Room was clean, extremely quiet (slept superbly, no noise at all except the sound of the sea which was heaven). Breakfast was delicious, cooked well, waitresses were very helpful. Parking out front was available, several free spaces, was able to leave my car after check-out for a walk down the beach. Visited beginning of November, Xmas decs up, coloured lights along beach, fireworks, everything lovely!

Cons:

Would have liked a bath, but the shower was really lovely and hot, so it didn’t matter at all. There were hand sanitiser door handles dispensing hand sanitiser on the front door, I can understand why they were there, but could not open front door without having to hold onto handles dispensing sanitiser; option to open door without this may be nice, but it wasn’t a problem.
