Good value the breakfast ,good location on sea front.enjoyed.
The location is amazing.
Room and common areas were clean.
Breakfast was good.
Its very dated and needs a bit of money spent on it. The room was clean but the wallpaper was coming off and bed wasn't the most comfortable
The hotel is in a brilliant location right on the beach. We had a seaview twin room and the view was beautiful. The hotel is good value and the room was comfortable for one night.
You can park at the hotel, but there was plenty of public parking right outside and it's free overnight until 9am, so if you are just here overnight it's not worth paying for hotel parking.
The place is a bit shabby and scruffy around the edges. Our bathroom smelled just like the one in my mum's care home, although it was clean. When we stayed there was a singer in the room below, so it was a bit noisy until around 11, but not unbearable and if you like to dance then it would be a bonus. My breakfast of scrambled eggs was pretty awful, they were pale, watery, tasteless, reconstituted eggs (why when there are clearly plenty of real eggs in the kitchen??) on soggy white toast, but the cooked breakfast was OK, if small.
Good location, right on the sea front. The breakfast was great, with a good choice of options. The room was clean and large enough for 2 people.
The hotel was okay but the rooms were very dated. They would benefit from a complete refurbishment. The free WiFi was not very strong and unusable most of the time. The hotel catered mainly for elderly people and the entertainment reflected that.
Location
The bathroom in room 4 needs a lot of work. New bath, sink and toilet have been installed but little has been done to clean and redecorate the room. Sealant is peeling and the hatch in the ceiling is filthy with discoloured water stains
The staff a nd the location was great and free parking on first come basis
Hotel rooms need a bit of attention, wallpaper falling off, not very disability friendly
Breakfast was lovely great choices.
Playing bingo
Evening meal
Only 1 hour slot for breakfast
Evening entertainment could of been better
Charmingly shabby exterior.
Very helpful staff especially waiters at breakfast.
great choice and well presented
it was all great, no complaints
The staff were friendly and helpful
The property could do with a deep clean and refreshing.
Food was good if served in a rushed manner. Receptionist was cheerful although she did get a few things wrong, telling us that breakfast was £20 / head, whereas it was only half that price. Parking was free. There was good entertainment in the evening although that was spoiled by running bingo as well. Bar was cheap.
We chose this hotel because it had good reviews and was cheaper than previous hotels we’d stayed in, in Exmouth. However, we missed that breakfast was not included and at £10 per head it worked out no cheaper. Not particularly clean if you look carefully. Wallpaper hanging off the wall in our room. Hot water ran out half way through a shower. Wasn’t hot enough to have a shower the second morning either.
Very clean lovely room and staff very helpful
Loved it all
Lovely friendly staff ,always ready to help if needed ,clean comfy rooms ,delicious food ,throughly enjoyed my stay and will stay again
Nothing
The location of the hotel was very good and the initial impression was also
Good .
The room decor was very dated and in poor condition. The ceiling had peeling wood chip wallpaper and the paint was flaking in the bathroom.
At breakfast the wait to be served was a very long time.
