Un’oasi di pace

Le Manoir de l’Étang si trova immerso nel verde di un bellissimo quartiere residenziale molto tranquillo a pochi minuti da Cannes.
Della struttura ho apprezzato soprattutto gli spazi esterni: le terrazze dove poter consumare i pasti, la piscina e il giardino; una vera oasi di pace. Al mattino presto, mi sono svegliata per andare a camminare e la struttura si trova proprio accanto alla riserva sorta attorno all’enorme stagno da cui prende il nome: le persone che ho incontrato mentee facevano jogging o portavano a spasso i cani erano tutte cortesi e alla mano, ed è stato bello sentirsi in qualche modo accolti o parte del vicinato.
Lo staff è dinamico, svelto e gentile.
La mia amica ed io abbiamo pranzato e consumato la colazione: ho trovato un po’ scarsa la porzione della mia insalata, ma la colazione era curatissima e comunque era tutto di qualità e molto buono.

Un posto paradisiaco a due passi da Cannes

I due Labrador all'accoglienza.
La location, la tranquillità del posto, e il magnifico albero secolare in giardino.
La possibilità di poter fruire delle bocce... La piscina molto tranquilla é un vero refrigerio.

Cons:

La colazione, un po' troppo esigua nella scelta e non a buffet come era indicato nella descrizione del posto, l'assenza di possibilità di poter cenare in loco, avremmo voluto non uscire da questo paradiso neppure per la cena (ma il ristorante rimane chiuso due gg a settimana e purtroppo abbiamo beccato il giorno di chiusura).
Non aver trovato una bottiglia dell'acqua in camera, come semplice kit d'accoglienza, ritengo sia un po' una diminuzio rispetto alla perfezione del luogo. Malgrado ciò, il posto supera tutti gli hotel ipotizzabili in zona, per cordialità del personale e location, ritengo solo vi siano da migliorare delle piccolissime sfumature che si adatterebbero meglio alla location.

Esperienza eccezionale
Pros:

La struttura é davvero molto bella, il personale molto gentile. La colazione ottime e molto curata, già il fatto di poterla degustare a bordo piscina rappresenta un buon inizio di giornata. Abbiamo potuto provare il ristorante dell'albergo che é stato davvero un'ottima scoperta. La piscina molto bella. Posizione ottimale per visitare i dintorni.
