Cons:

We made a booking online, and when we turned up we could not access the building. After ringing and emailing for nearly half an hour, we left and found somewhere else to stay. The phone number on the door that we were meant to ring just rang out.

Good last minute option but will not stay here again.

The room was a good option for a last minute night away at a fair price.

Cons:

Unfortunately when we arrived we were advised the spa bath wasn’t working which was incredibly disappointing as that’s the only reason we booked the room. The cleanliness of the room was questionable especially in the bath room. The bath and shower both had substantial amounts of mould in the silicone and the shower was unusable with the amount of mould on the shower head which was very disappointing.

Location was perfect, host was very welcoming on arrival, easy stroll to local eateries, beautiful comfortable room, Seaview was amazing.

Fantastic spot opposite the water with a touch of quirky period charm
Pros:

Phil was a great host with many extras available , even a glass of wine for such a small fee.. We felt the room could use a bit of time and TLC as starting to look and feel worn and in need. But otherwise location and vibe was great.

Cons:

Its very much a self serve check in etc and even though ours was a last minute booking it took an hour at least to get onto him to get into the hotel as all locked up and his advertised phone number was a full voicemailbox message.

Great option in the centre of town.
Pros:

Great location in centre of town. Room was large and comfortable. Excellent shower and comfy bed. Downstairs lounge and complementary port was a nice bonus.

Cons:

If in the front room be conscious of privacy as you are very visible from the park and path across the road.

didn’t like anything about this hotel.

The room we originally booked had no running water. The owner moved us to another room and charged us extra, but the new room was extremely dirty. We stayed for 7 nights, and not once did anyone come to clean the room. It was full of dust, and we had to breathe in dust every night while sleeping.

There was never any staff available in the office. Whenever we needed help, no one came out to assist us. My sister stayed in the room upstairs, and her door could only be unlocked from the outside, so someone had to go upstairs and open the door for her every single day.

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. There is no elevator, and from 6 a.m. every morning until late at night, we could hear guests dragging their suitcases up and down the stairs. The noise was constant and very disturbing.

What should have been a relaxing holiday turned into a frustrating and disappointing experience. The money we paid was absolutely not worth it. I travel almost every month and have always trusted Booking.com, but nothing about this hotel matched its description or rating.

I believe Booking.com should remove this property from its website or at least review its rating. Other travelers should not have to experience the same disappointment that we did. This hotel should be listed as a low-star property, not a 4- or 5-star accommodation.

Wont be back unfortunately the location is great price is way over the top for what you get
Cons:

Shower was poor could barley turn the tap on hard to control water temp was hot then cold. Couldn't fill the bath up as the water went cold. Wasn't worth the $329 a night.
Had trouble accessing the property as there was no reception on site at 2pm on a Saturday arvo.
