everthing
The motel was in an excellent location. The room was clean and comfortable. A staff member was there for check in but that was the last we seen of anyone. The bathroom seemed to be half finished , eg fittings incomplete. The stairs are very narrow and tight not the best for carrying luggage up.
The bar down stairs with complimentary port and brandy plus $5.00 glasses of wine was a lovely touch.
The stairs, unable to contact staff and the lack of detail
Lovely convenient location.
A couple of small issues on the cleaning side.
Clean and decor
People smoking below our unit
Right opposite the beach. Everything in the room you need, a little washing up liquid to wash up dishes would have been an advantage, I had to use shampoo!
Nothing
Great location, comfortable room with nice amenities. Downstair lounge area added bonus. Staff pleasant and helpful.
Parking information should be provided prior to stay, had to ring for options. No vanity as such in bathroom.
The young lady That greeted us on our arrival was wonderful and when she us our room we were blown away with the view and the room itself We had a fantastic couple of days.XX
It was a lovely room especially for the price
Nothing
He went out of his way to accommodate our needs. He was very helpful in every way. Jiggly recommended.
Right on the waterfront. Penguin is so tiny, most accommodation is on or beside the beach anyway.
Very ordinary accommodation. Not 4 star, more like 2.5, and not what we expected for boutique accommodation. Room 3 is up a very steep, very narrow staircase with views of a wall and roof tops. Very tired, very small and not particularly comfortable. Shower over bath makes for difficult and dangerous in and out. We received no info on how to get in and lucky someone saw us looking confused at the front door. No contact with anyone else. On the main street with parking out the front on the street. Disappointing for the price.
The Location was central
The room was dated and had cobwebs everywhere, the heater was insufficient to heat the room. The toilet seat was barely attached, the shower was so low that a child would struggle to fit under it. The walls were so thin we heard every other guest in the hotel if they so much as sneezed and when it was windy there was a constant banging from a roof sheet outside the window and if you consider this is the northwest, it is always windy.
A beautifully renovated hotel that combines every comfort with nature and art. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and a substantial and well cooked breakfast is included in the price. The owners are very happy to make recommendations when it comes to eating out and enjoy showing you the features of the hotel such as the lead light and the conservatory. It is very welcoming and is a lovely space to relax.
Great location , big room
The bed was a bit lumpy
