Varga Kvareli

Our stay at Varga was one of our best guest house experiences in Georgia! Our host family was incredibly welcoming and invited us into their home with open arms and open hearts. Conversation was intriguing and a genuine insight into a beautiful Georgian family and culture. The beds were very comfortable, clean and new, the huge covered porch is a relaxing outdoor space, the pool was refreshing and breakfast was delicious. The host organized a taxi for wine touring upon request. I would highly recommend this guest house.

Perfectly located family house near the museums and the restaurants.
Hospitable hosts, beautiful room with fireplace. We were in Kvareli in November, it was cold, so the heat from the fireplace was life-giving!
The hosts treated us to home-made delicious wines, jams, honey!

Also important thing: there is a large parking place in the courtyard, my car was not outside on the narrow street.

Просторный номер. Чистота. Большая общая терраса, увитая виноградом, который можно дегустировать. Холодильник общий или можно воспользоваться хозяйским. Wi-fi отличный, но в нашем номере сигнал был не очень, на террасе -отлично ловил. Внимательные хозяева. Рекомендуем!

Het is een kleine, toffe guesthouse met een gezellig tuin. De uitbaters zijn zeer vriendelijk en flexibel. Je kan ontbijt en avondeten bestellen, wat je op een plek naar keuze mag eten: in de tuin, op het balkon, in de eetruimte binnen, ... Het zwembad is zalig ontspannen tijdens de hete zomer.
Het dorpje is een goede uitvalsbasis om wijngaarden, kloosters etc in de buurt te bezoeken.

Kvareli is a very quiet town in the kakheti wine area. Perfect for a few days to explore local life in Georgia and the wine cave and Kindzmarauli. It is very easy to get here from Tbilisi via public transport. The guesthouse was very good and clean, the pool was very nice, and the big patio was amazing. I guarantee you: The elderly couple owning this place are the best hosts in Georgia - very kind and very helpful. They gave us fruits and homemade wine, and they were always around and ready to help. They do not speak English, but they can call their daughter or use translate - it worked out very well. Thank you so much!

Gorgeous private guest house in a quiet neighborhood. Our host greeted us kindly and made sure our needs were met. The room was clean and ample. The food prepared here is some of the best home cooking you’ll find so be sure to opt in for dinner one evening. The homemade wine was also fantastic.
