It was a work trip, and didn't share it with my better half.
Great spacious car park, warm welcome on arrival, lovely meal in the restaurant with really hot food, service matched the food, an open log fire to retire to, high standards of hygiene all round and comfy mattress and power shower the next morning .
We stayed in the Wrekin room and the width space between the beds and wall and bathroom were tight; overall it was fairly cosy… maybe a different room layout might create more space in the room.
Very nice breakfast, nicely cooked. Staff pleasant and helpful.
There was a very dirty big dog in the bar which settled down on one of the seats. Dogs should not be allowed inside an establishment serving food and drink.

Nice location, 12 mins from Telford in the morning. Excellent, freshly cooked breakfast and meals both days. .
My only comment would be the room was too hot despite the thermostat being all the way down meaning I left the sliding door to the Juliet balcony all night. For me personally the bed was too soft.
