The staff are sooooo friendly they really are very welcoming
The property is old and tired, it needs an injection of money to do it up. It’s such a shame as the staff are lovely but it’s just very tired
The reception staff were very friendly and helpful but the breakfast staff could have been a little more friendly and smiled at bit more, variety of breakfast options was very good, always plenty of parking spaces.
Didn’t think the room was value for money, very small and next to the breakfast area so was a tad noisy. The windows throughout could have had a clean especially the indoor pool, in all the place looked very tired.

The room was comfortable and quiet. The whole place is very clean.
The hotel is tired and expensive - it is clearly overpriced but getting away with it because it's the only country style hotel in the area. The decor is dated. We asked about taxis to the hotel when we booked several weeks ago and received no information until the day before we travelled - completely useless by that time. The welcome at reception was lukewarm and pretty much non existant when we checked out. Breakfast had the basics or a hot buffet, cereal and a few croissants. There is no cold buffet with meats and cheese and everything is self service. A guest who wanted a fried egg was told they only did scrambled - how hard can that be? Staff at breakfast were three very young women who were hanging around the buffet area watching everyone load their plates - quite off putting. For £175 a night I can't say this was any better than a Holiday Inn Express or Premier Inn would have been. But there aren't any in this area so it's a captive audience.

Sehr ruhig und idyllisch gelegen, schöne Zimmer (2benutzt), sehr große und schöne Bäder, sehr gut ausgestattetes Gym, großes Hallenbad, mittleres Freibad, schöne Aufenthaltsbereiche und Terrasse, gute Atmosphäre, kleine aber feine Fasssauna im Garten
Frühstück war etwas simpel, Gebäude und Einrichtung etwas in die Jahre gekommen, unsere Zimmer waren aber in Ordnung und sauber und tadellos

The assisted shower had nothing to hold onto stepping in or out & would have been improved with a spray nozzle as well, hand held ...

Lovely location. Outdoor pool is great. Room was great. Despite no air con and temps in the mid 30s my room was great and slept v well.
Bath was big. Shower fine. Breakfast was lovely and evening meal was fine too. Staff exceptionally helpful. Parking v good. Felt safe secure and comfortable.

The rooms were like ovens. No air conditioning and huge patio doors which faced the sun all afternoon. Made is very difficult to sleep. Fan above the bed was useless.
