Wonderful stay at the Blonde Hedgehog. Fantastic staff. Good restaurant and bar. Beautiful rooms and bathrooms.
Pros:

Beautiful rooms and bathrooms with all the home comforts like mini refrigerator, coffee machine, room safe, bathrobes, slippers, and quality toiletries. Comfortable, aesthetically pleasing, warm public spaces in which to relax and enjoy the delicious coffee and food from the bar menu. Lovely restaurant, great service, wonderful breakfast, and good food. Fantastic customer service, attentive staff and managers present at all times. Any inconvenience anticipated by staff and manageress and avoided e.g. our room was upgraded to a quieter suite when there was a function in the restaurant.

Cons:

Room radiators either too hot or too cold, and tricky to adjust temperature.

No sleep, but nice staff.
Pros:

Food and staff

Cons:

No sleep: first night they had a private event and a live band, of which would have Been nice to know, then noisey from would sounds like a thousand footsteps constantly. Second night, from 6am constantly loud footsteps. Also, none of the curtains close even near fully, so room too bright to sleep.

The service could have been better considering the price.
Pros:

Beautiful decor, great coffee, lovely surroundings, great breakfasts, good food

Cons:

The value for the money has gone for us. We treated ourselves to staying here based on previous visits but found it overall the treatment of our stay somewhat lacking the special prices being charged and this was really off putting .
This was largely but not wholly down to the staff not being fully attentive as they could have been.

Pros:

The whole place is absolutely spotless, the staff are amazing and the food delicious

Cons:

The main lights in the bedroom didn't work, the tea, coffee and milk weren't replenished and we only had half a toilet roll.

A dream of a hotel - perfect all round!
Pros:

How can a hotel be so beautiful? Our stay was simply fabulous in all areas. The rooms are exactly as in the photos - furnished with great attention to detail and fantastically beautiful. We were particularly impressed by the high-quality care products, the fresh milk in the fridge and the home-baked biscuits - all of which made us feel very welcome.

Another highlight: free beach towels and sun hats to borrow - a great service that makes your stay by the sea even more relaxing.

The breakfast left nothing to be desired: a varied selection at the cold buffet as well as freshly prepared hot dishes that could be ordered in addition. The restaurant was also great - with a wonderful ambience, very good food and a garden that is not only beautifully laid out but can also be used by hotel guests.

The staff were friendly, attentive and exceptionally courteous throughout - you can really feel their commitment and hospitality here.

Conclusion: A place to feel good and come back to - we were completely thrilled!

great stay and very positive
Pros:

everything was perfect from start to finish, staff were great, management were spot on, nothing was too much trouble, breakfast was plentiful and coffee free flowing, bar service was good, bed very comfortable, and hotel very clean.

Cons:

door slamming at night. and people seem to gather at the front entrance to smoke, which is a bit off putting as the smoke travelled up through our window into the bedroom and the amount of fag butts outside is a bit of a put off,

Would have welcomed more basic decor in exchange for more practical space

Breakfast and location both satisfactory

Cons:

Room had too much emphasis on style and little on practicality. eg 6 or 8 cushions on the bed and nowhere to put them because the room was very small. eg No desktop surface with adjacent sockets for charging electronics etc. eg very limited hanging space for clothes. eg Sloping roof to bang heads on during night time visit to bathroom.

Pros:

Quirky! Central to main area and reasonably comfortable. Plenty of extras included.

Cons:

Stairs everywhere! All steep and many without handrail.
In our room, the corner of the bed was too close to the wardrobe making it tight to pass by into bed.

Perfect stay in a stunning hotel.
Pros:

Absolutely beautiful hotel. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to one of the two suites which was spacious, stunning and very comfortable bed.
