Worth it because of the golf and the view.
Pros:

The hotel has a great location and the rooms are big, which suited us because of all our luggage. The golf course is also great and very convenient for the hotel guests. We managed to get tee times at short notice.
The staff were kind (apart from some of the breakfast service and the cleaners).

Cons:

It’s designed round golfing groups and thus a bit sterile. Breakfast or getting breakfast is not a great experience. If you don’t want bacon and egg, it’s difficult… Only once in 5 days did someone offer the breakfast menu to select something else.
Our room was only serviced once in 5 days (once was our fault as we forgot to change the sign on the door). We usually went out about 12 noon, but by then the cleaning staff had gone!
The showers are quite lethal as they are very slippery.

Very good apart from the breakfast.
Pros:

Lovely big room. Large window (which opened) with view of golf course and sea beyond. Large walk in shower.

Cons:

Breakfast wasn’t very good. Mainly hot option which was buffet, so standing around for quite some time.
Only fruit was apples pears and plums. No fruit salad or prepared fruit. Only Yog was plain. Told to add jam to flavour it. No rolls, only supermarket type sliced bread for toasting. Very small pastries (2bites), but nice. Breakfast ended at 9.30.

Cons:

Rooms are cheaply decorated with poor furnishings and beds etc. Breakfast was disappointing - no fruit, porridge had to be ordered. Dinner was acceptable but nothing special.

Short break.
Pros:

Warmly greeted, room was clean fresh and comfortable. Lovely menu for dinner and a good range at tge buffet breakfast.

Cons:

A few small wear and tear marks on the walls by the room door. Maybe need a refresh.
