Amazing building and staff but amenities could be improved.
Pros:

David si lovely and very welcoming. The house is spectacular and beautiful, perfectly located by the lakes. The room was huge and the bed very comfortable.

Cons:

It was a bit of a shame to see that the house - especially the room - was not is very good condition. The amenities like the sink and the bath’s faucet were broken or leaking, the towels quite old, or the internet very very slow, so aligned with the standard of the house.

Pros:

Ich hatte ein außergewöhnlich schönes Zimmer im Jugendstil. Es war wie eine Übernachtung im Museum. Natürlich kann man da nicht alles wie im modernen Standardhotel erwarten, dafür ist es einmalig!

Dass es keinen Fernseher gab.

The owner Vincent is really friendly, helpful and engaging. The hotel is spacious and tastefully decorated in art nouveau style. The neighbourhood is great, with a view of lake from the breakfast room, and plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from.

de ontvangst door onze gastheer was liefdevol en warm. het hele huis ademt een rust uit die uitzonderlijk is voor een stad als brussel. de sfeer in het huis deed ons werkelijk thuiskomen. en het bad!!
