Comfy and good value, super friendly staff and great breakfast
We had experienced a personal issue before arrival. All the staff, especially Charlotte, were extremely helpful and supportive.
Staff was very friendly, room was large, pub was very cozy
The radiators kept shutting off
The location is very good and the breakfast outstanding. The staff are very helpful and the beds are very comfortable.
Room 2 needs some urgent TLC. This was a second visit and although the view was better than the first stay there are lots of minor repairs needed especially the sliding bathroom door and the wallpaper. In addition on arrival the central heating was not working in the room but this was sorted out fairly quickly.
Upon arrival the room was cold, but with a portable radiator it stayed nice all night.
Exceptional location, a public footpath on to Dartmoor starts right behind the inn.
Staff very friendly and helpful.
Nice view from my room.
There were a couple of mix ups with my food, I got things I can't eat. Also, I had to wait for a very long time for my toast.
A lot of traffic noise.
I would have liked a walk-in shower.
Very cosy pub in perfect spot for walking the moor, good breakfast and welcoming atmosphere.
Fantastic breakfast great location. The chips are really worth having - traditional chips like people used to make them.
Beautiful location. Friendly staff. Lovely room. Excellent breakfast. Great value for money.
Bar closed on Sunday evening. However very friendly local leaving as we arrived recommended another nearby lovely pub where we were able to eat and get a drink.
Friendly, comfortable, and a good breakfast to set me up for my journey home.
The weather! I arrived during a downpour!
Lovely staff and food. Room clean and comfortable.
Room could have been warmer.
Excellent location to access the Moor. Good value for money. Room was very comfortable, clean and breakfast was superb.

Lights above the bed don't work. Bath needs replacing with proper shower cubicle as taps disconnected.
