the location is remote, quiet and the view is amazing

Nous avions réservé le “dôme”. Construction pas très locale mais superbe vue. Le lit est confortable. Le tout aurait besoin d’un rafraîchissement mais ça passe. Accueil sympa même si personne ne parle anglais. En revanche contact très réactif via WhatsApp avec Mr Lee; très aidant. Le homestay est au cœur des rizières dans un environnement superbe et paisible. Loin de tout. Les repas sont pris sur place. Cuisine familiale savoureuse et à prix raisonnable.

Nous avons tout aimé de notre séjour. Le propriétaire Lee est toujours disponible pour répondre à nos questions et nous aider à planifier notre séjour. Sa famille est également très gentille et serviable. Le paysage est vraiment sublime et loin des sentiers battus. Nous recommandons vivement!

Bardzo przyjemne miejsce. Czysto, piękne widoki na góry i pola ryżowe, a gospodarze są bardzo przyjaźni i gościnni. Jedzenie było smaczne, a atmosfera bardzo spokojna. Świetne miejsce, żeby pobyć blisko natury i zobaczyć lokalne rolnictwo oraz życie na wsi. Zdecydowanie polecam.

Great communication from the owner. We were biking over and he really helped out when we had an issue with our bikes. Also with choosing the best route to drive to the accommodation. The bed was very comfortable and on a cold night super warm duvets. Only wish there had been a few more beers in the fridge! The narrow road to access the accommodation on the final 300 metres is a little dicey if arriving on a foggy night. But the view is 100% worth it!

Pour une retraite en pleine montagne comme dans un refuge alpin, c est le lieu idéal. La chambre était spacieuse et bien équipée avec terrasse, chaises longues et vue sur les rizières en terrasse. Le personnel est très agréable et efficace. Les repas et petits déjeuners étaient corrects. N'hésitez pas à contacter Mr Lee pour organiser une rencontre avec les habitants de cette très belle région.

This place is a very authentical and respectful with nature and all the people around. The hostes Hoàn and Mai were very lovely and took care of me because I had a small food intoxication when I arrived. I felt very thankful for being able to stay in their home surrounded for one of the most stunning landscapes I have ever seen. I really hope this place can keep its uniqueness.

C est un endroit magnifique, authentique , calme, reposant. Des rizières en terrasse splendides, le personnel etait au petit soin avec nous. Le propriétaire nous a beaucoup aidé pour nos différents projets et trajets pour venir chez lui. Tout était parfait. L endroit n est pas facile d accès mais vraiment à ne pas passer à côté.

We spent two nights at Nâm Lỳ Retreat, and it was an unforgettable experience. Far from mass tourism, the place is completely preserved and truly authentic. The most beautiful rice terraces we have seen, breathtaking landscapes, and a warm, genuine welcome from everyone. The meals were absolutely delicious, and we even had the chance to cook together. During our trek with a guide, we shared a traditional lunch with a Dao family in their wooden stilt house: a unique and moving experience. Lee, the owner, couldn’t be there in person, but his family took excellent care of us, and we could reach him at any time if needed. Everything felt natural, respectful, and full of charm. Thank you so much for this wonderful stay, we couldn’t have hoped for better! ❤️🙏

We had an amazing stay at Nam Ly Retreat! The owner is super friendly and helped us out with getting to the place, even organized our bus and bike taxi! The location is amazing, in the middle of beautiful mountains and rice terraces. The least touristy place we've been to in the whole of vietnam in beautiful nature perfect for exploring and trekking on your own!

The remoteness and the nature were amazing

Definitely a highlight during our stay in Vietnam! We loved being remote and in such a calm place surrounded by a beautiful landscape. We did some hiking and smaller walks in the area. The staff was very helpful and the owner did everything to support us from arrival to departure. Fresh meals were cooked for us whenever we needed them. Make sure to bring enough cash:)
Since the place is very remote, we got support to come to the place, we took a sleeper bus from Hanoi, then a local bus, taxi and the last part we had to walk. It was a little adventure and we liked it. Everything was perfectly organized by the owner and the communication was very good and helpful. There is a small village nearby where we could buy some snacks and water but drinks can also be purchased in the home.

The homestay is nestled among steep mountains and rice terraces. A very nice place to hike or just chill out in a hammock. The staff were friendly, the bathroom was very clean and the shower was great too.

If you are driving there yourself, you should be aware that the homestay is located a fair way down a very steep and narrow path which is quite slippery when wet. Our Honda XR150 only just about made it back up the hill with only one of us on the bike.
