A decent, humble place to stay with good breakfast, but a little far from the main sites
Pros:

The breakfast was quite good and felt like an authentic homemade meal. The staff are friendly but their English is limited. The hotel location is not bad if you are okay with walking around 15 minutes up and down Istanbul's steep streets to reach the main areas.

Cons:

The doors are all quite creaky as it is an old wooden structure. The bathroom is quite small and not well designed (e.g. there is a floating shelf right in the way of the sink). It was very windy when we stayed there and a small window in the bathroom kept slamming open and shut (could not reach it). The hotel has quite a few stairs to go up and down which is not ideal with luggage.

correct mais monotone sauf un plat quotidien changeant

En cinq nuits , nous avons changé 3 fois de chambre
la première, au rez de chaussée, près de la réception et sur passage pour le petit déjeuner, télé ne fonctionnant pas, wc non scellé au sol...
devant notre mécontentement, le patron nous a donné une chambre dans une suite au rez de chaussée, pour 3 nuits, qui était correct, puis nous a demandé de changer de chambre au 3 ème étage, nous avons du faire 2 aller retour avec nos valises et sacs pour monter les étages, une fenêtre donnant sur une rue très bruyante, un fenestron donnant sur un toit avec couple de goélands et trois poussins qui piaillent jours et nuits en même temps que les cris des adultes, arrivés dans la chambre une partie de la fenêtre guillotine était dégondée, plus de 5h avant d être sommairement réparée, donc difficile de se reposer et dans l' attente du réparateur, qui est est revenu le lendemain matin terminer son travail.., pas d armoire de rangement, lit plus petit,
Nous avons payé pour avoir une chambre sur jardin avec un lit QUEEN, de plus le jardin n en ai pas un, c est une cour intérieure avec des tables et chaises pour prendre les petits déjeuners, donc cour bruyante
Le patron est jovial et le personnel aussi,mais mauvaise organisation et de la gestion de ses chambres
Nous avons l habitude de voyager, mais c est la première fois que nous changeons 3 fois de chambres sur 5 nuits dans le même hôtel...

Pleasant and comfortable.
Pros:

The staff was extremely friendly and and helpful. We got help with ordering taxi back to the airport and even an early breakfast outside of regular hours to be able to leave for the airport in time.
