A fantastic place, very friendly owners, delicious breakfasts, parking under the building, a free sauna on the ground floor, and an amazing view from the balcony. We recommend it 100%. A great base for trekking in the Dolomites.

Schöne, ruhige Unterkunft mit einem tollen Blick vom Balkon auf die Berge. Bequemes Bett, sehr vielfältiges und gutes Frühstück, Parkplätze sind ausreichend vorhanden. Ganz liebe Gastgeber, die sehr hilfsbereit waren und wertvolle Tipps für Wanderungen in der Umgebung hatten. Kann eine Übernachtung hier nur empfehlen!

I really enjoyed my stay here. The view overlooking the mountains and valley was absolutely stunning. Free parking was always available, and the space was clean and well kept. The breakfast was a highlight, especially the homemade cakes and pies. Overall, it’s a great value and I’d happily stay here again.

Staying at Ciasa Montanara was truly a great choice! If you’re a fan of authentic Italian atmosphere and warm hospitality from Clara and Edi, this is the place for you. The breakfast was a highlight – freshly brewed coffee and Edi’s omelette were my favorite way to start the day. Plus, the location is perfect: you can easily reach all the famous hiking and skiing spots in the Dolomites. Don’t hesitate – book your stay here!

Excellent location for trips to the surrounding hills. The owner is very friendly and provides guests with a warm, homely feeling. The breakfasts are excellent, offering everything you need and catering to all tastes. You also have the option of having eggs prepared in different ways, such as an omelet or boiled eggs. Unlike other lodges, I really like that they serve proper coffee.

The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Every day after breakfast, the housekeeping staff checks and, if necessary, cleans the room and changes the towels. We also had a wonderful balcony with a view of the surrounding hills. I definitely recommend this lodging for anyone who wants a pleasant stay and a great starting point for exploring nature.

Ottima posizione per escursioni sulle colline circostanti. La proprietaria è molto cordiale e offre agli ospiti una calda sensazione di familiarità. Le colazioni sono eccellenti, offrono tutto ciò di cui si ha bisogno e si adattano a tutti i gusti. Si ha anche la possibilità di farsi preparare le uova in diversi modi, come omelette, uova sode e altro. A differenza di altri alloggi, mi piace molto che servano caffè vero.

Le camere sono molto pulite e confortevoli. Ogni giorno dopo colazione, il personale delle pulizie controlla e, se necessario, pulisce la stanza e cambia gli asciugamani. Avevamo anche un bellissimo balcone con vista sulle colline circostanti. Consiglio vivamente questo alloggio a chiunque desideri un soggiorno piacevole e un ottimo punto di partenza per esplorare la natura.

Klara was the most adorable host. She made us feel like we were part of her family in her home. This place was an extraordinary value for the location, experience and breakfasts. We hope to return.

Rooms were lovely and traditional with a great view from the balcony. Very cute place. Loved breakfast, lots of choice and loved that the owner learnt my coffee order (lactose free milk) and brought me this every morning (great coffee). Sauna was also great and relaxing after a day of walking. A little further than Cortina D’Ampezzo than we would have liked but a range of lovely restaurants and facilities in the area. Would really recommend.
