Extremely disappointed. Booked it because of the reviews from trip and booking.
It did not live up to the expectation as heard.

Location is really good undoubtedly. Architecture as well. One of the reasons why I booked it was for the architecture and the layout of the rooms.

On our first day of arrival rooms wasn’t functioning well. There was some outrageous sound coming from the right tap.
They did well sort it swiftly. But I realised the flooring persist squeaky sound that was unacceptable.

As the stay persisted the service definitely did not live up to expectations. Concierge doesn’t bother to greet. Bell boy was unprofessional. Lack of professionalism and lack of warmth. I do feel they treated guest who dressed better nicer and warmer in comparison to us. We didn’t expect the service crew to be this pragmatic and realistic. We weren’t told there is a dress code at the hotel. If there is we would have obliged to it.

On our departure I booked an Audi A7 to chauffeur me to the airport. As I was getting ready they prep me a merc e class instead.
When questioned all they said was it was a free upgrade.

Mate… it’s a similar segment car. Where comes the upgrade.

It’s a lovely property I hope management could really look into the problems of this hotel.

For the time being I will not return to any upper house properties.

Serene minimalist luxury in Jing’an, elevated by outstanding concierge service.
Pros:

A truly refined stay in the heart of Jing’an, one of Shanghai’s most elegant and vibrant districts.

The rooms are spacious, minimalist, and beautifully designed, with warm natural materials and floor-to-ceiling windows that create a calm sanctuary above the city. The atmosphere is serene, sophisticated, and discreetly luxurious — a welcome contrast to Shanghai’s intensity.

Hôtel haut de gamme très confort
Pros:

Vue très belle sur la ville et ses buildings. La chambre est très confort et le design très luxueux. L’accueil également très sympa avec un présentation de la chambre et de ses équipements.
Le room service 24/24 est très bon et totalement abordable. Salle bain avec douche et bain.
Au sous sol, l’ensemble piscine, hammam, sauna ferme tard à 23h ce qui permet amplement d’en profiter avec un grosse journée de marche. Éventuellement, la propreté/qualité du hammam était un peu douteuse.
Dernier détail, l’hôtel et les espaces public sentent vraiment très bon! Quel est le parfum que vous utilisez ?

Cons:

La salle de bain est très chic et épurée, totalement noire. Peut être un peu trop sombre et les sols sont tellement glissants que l’hôtel a ajouté des tapis de bain anti-slip dans la douche.. moins chic.
