Another popular choice in central of the town very cool and comfortable 9 beautiful room every thing was perfect
Beautiful decoration room with tasty fully done ypu visit one time restaurant with next door in kanhaia haveli same owner
It was fine to stay near the pushkar lake
Great location
Great rooms
Great service
Great hospitality
Very comfortable and felt like home, very clean and location was perfect
Rooms are a beautiful red stone, bathroom is clean - great if you like a heritage stay. Great location and nice quirky host. One of the best rooftops in the city. He gave us advice re not falling for tuktuks in tourist attractions as the hotel is 10min walk from them, what to see and where to shop.
A little bit noisy in the evening (prayers in the city in the middle of the night, dogs fighting..) but there is nothing the owner can do. The street is quiet and safe so I would definitely come back.
The only two reasons I liked staying at Jashoda Mystic were-
A. Extremely close to the main market
B. Spacious rooms
1. No toiletries - no handwash, small shampoo, body wash sachets
2. Dirty towels
3. No toilet rolls - I had to use mine
4. Really bad quality food - I had ordered breakfast (poha - uncooked and chai)
5. Hot water issues - they informed us after we took a shower that the two floors or I think the three rooms on our floor used only 1 heater hence the water only ran hot for a few minutes. I stood cold in the shower by the end of it with shampoo and soap on me because I was not aware of this. Sink did not get hot water 97% of our stay. During winters, hot water is a MUST for showers so keeping only one heating system absolutely doesn't make a sense.
6. I have lived in hostels, even they have kept toiletries so quite surprised at how there was nothing kept.
7. This is a very important and weird one - I booked a cab from them thinking it would make our travel time easier. Suddenly on the day of arrival to Jaipur, I got a call early morning when I had just woken up, the voice was not as clear hence I couldn't hear them properly. All I heard was Durgapura, so I assumed I've to let the driver know when we reach Durgapura. At about 9 am, I got a call from the driver saying he has arrived at the entrance at Durgapura, so I panicked and we had to rush about taking our bags outside. Then it went worse. It was an extremely random place hence we couldn't find the driver, so this guy just expects us to walk upto him. I had to beg him to come to us as we had luggage. When he arrived, there was absolutely no response from him and his attitude was more like unapologetic, quite rude. I tried being nice to him hence offered him breakfast and free food. No thank you or anything. It's extremely weird because we were almost at his mercy and all I would expect is for this guy to be decent. It was my partner's first visit to Rajasthan, so became very stressful.
Liked the big spacious bedroom which had high ceilings and plenty of space. The bathroom was a decent size as well but it uses an electric heater for the water so you have a very limited amount of hot water to have as your shower. Plus, it’s a struggle for the hot water to be left on so that heats up again because they switch off the hot water power supply all the time and you have to go and ask reception to get it switched back on again. The hotel kitchen, which by accident(because the order took so long we went to the kitchen to ask them how much longer it was going to be) we saw the insides of was way below safe kitchen hygiene standards.
The unhygienic restaurant kitchen.
Large spacious clean room
Hotel in a quiet area
Powerful shower.
Staff didn't speak much English, which was a problem at times.
You need to keep making sure the power is on to hot water. They turn it off by reception.
Good room service. Staff are mostly good.
Staff who do not understand English.
very well kept and maintained. everything was spic and span. good location too. 2 minute walk to the ghats.
Friendly staff and nice room
Some facilities not working. No restaurant
Newly decorated with good finish on tiles, floors and windows. Generally a very well maintained hotel with good-looking corridors and lift. Bathroom was comfortable and clean..
The TV reception was limited for English speaking viewers, and the overcast weather in Pushkar prevented a good signal in general.
quiet, beautifully furnished, huge room, great stuff. Therapeutic massage.
The haveli was on a relatively quieter cul-de-sac than his other nearby property. The furnishings were very attractive and traditional, but everything was quite new. The high ceilings and light fixtures were off, elegant yet simple. The staff, including Kapil, was always very attentive, and the owner was also helpful with anything we asked including massage, a driver to Ajmer, etc
food and drink were always available from the restaurant and at his other property and Dolat there was very gracious
once I figured out that the electric was reset by a switch outside the door it was fine.
The aruvedic massage there helped my travel aches and pains.
I was very happy with our choice of hotel in Pushkar
they were working on getting the elevator working consistently, so not always available. I like to think the stairs helped me work off some of their good butter, paneer masala.
very central and helpful staff
they should care a bit more about hygiene but it was in line with the local standards for this budget
