De Manora Homes - Unpretentious hotel with a garden , posh area Ranjit Avenue

Stayed here during our 2 day trip to Amritsar (9-10 Feb 2026) and had a great experience. The host was very welcoming and patient even though we arrived late, and parking was already arranged which was really helpful.

The room was spacious, clean and well maintained. All amenities worked properly and instructions were clear.

The best part was the host helping us plan our itinerary, from visiting the Golden Temple smoothly to recommending excellent local food spots. It genuinely made the trip easier and more enjoyable.

Convenient location and a very comfortable stay overall. Would happily stay here again on my next visit to Amritsar.

I recently had a truly exceptional experience at this Airbnb/Homestay. It perfectly balances the comfort and personalized feel of a homestay with the premium construction and design of a high-end hotel. The entire place is incredibly well-designed and executed, providing every comfort you could need at a very reasonable price.
Location & Convenience:
Prime Location: Easily walkable from the Amritsar Railway Station, which was a huge plus for me.
Golden Temple Access: It's just a quick and inexpensive tuk-tuk ride away from the Golden Temple, making sightseeing incredibly convenient.
The Best Part:
While the accommodation itself is stellar, the highlight of my trip was the time spent with Gurmehar Singh. His detailed and insightful explanation of the Golden Temple's history, significance, and architecture was a truly invaluable experience and made my visit to the site so much more meaningful.
If you are looking for the absolute best hotel/homestay experience in Amritsar—combining quality, comfort, location, and genuine hospitality—look no further! Highly, highly recommend.

Great place to stay with family for a short trip in Amritsar. The owner Gurmehar ji will personally take care of all your requests and take his time to guide you about known as well as hidden treasures of Golden Temple and Amritsar. The stay was made memorable one thanks to his guidance.

Нашел такси, что посмотреть церемонию на границе, подсказал приложение, чтобы мы самостоятельно легко, дешево и комфортно передвигались по городу. Тук-туки в Амритсаре очень жесткие и некомфортные, не такие, как в Дели, без такси никак. Горячая вода - круглосуточно индивидуальный бойлер, у нас ни разу не кончилась. Кондиционер в номере работал. Не знаю, как обычно принято, но мы просили ежедневно убирать номер и к нашему возвращению все было чисто. Еще раз благодарим!

My experience at De Manora was nothing short of amazing. From the moment I arrived, the hospitality was top-notch. The staff was warm, attentive, and always ready to assist with a smile.

The host is extremely hospitable and runs the place with passion and commitment. The staff is equally committed to their tasks.
It’s a perfect place to book if you are travelling as a family or in a small group. With 8 efficiently planned rooms, the property can accommodate 18-20 guest with ease.
The kitchen has limited options but that’s not a concern in Amritsar as its extensive network of Dhabas work well and the property helps you to order food from any place of your choice.
Gurmehar has amazing knowledge on the history of Amritsar and he is not shy of sharing the same with the guests as a passion. The visit to Harminder Sahib (Golden Temple) after his briefing makes the temple visit much more meaningful and effective.
