Overall, the hotel was fine for an overnight stay. It's a bit tired & could do with a makeover. The electric blanket on the bed didn't work, which was disappointing as it was very cold. The staff & the food were both great & we really appreciated being able to park closer than what was normally allowed, due to my physical limitations.
Great Breakfast and warm and comfy room
The fireplace at night that kept the cottage warm and cozy. Electric blankets were an added bonus as it was very cold the evening we stayed over..
The Shower water did not drain properly.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Good value for money.
I know the cottages are self catering, but it would be nice if the hotel provided a small bar of soap for the bathroom.

The wifi does not link
The breakfast was delicious and more than enough to eat!
It would be nice to have more kitchen cutlery, especially a bread knife and a sharp cutting knife.
Loved the food, compliments to the chef.
The cottage was not up to standard at all, the fireplace was old and rusty. We tried lighting up fire in it in order for us to be warm, there was smoke all over the cottage as a result we had to open windows and the sliding for the smoke.
The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. The food was very good.
The fire place in the cottage assigned to us was not working. The coffee machine was out of order
I've traveled and have never seen more friendlier staff than here. They go out of their way to give you what you want. Siya at the reception I have no words for her she's more than the best.

The fireplace didn't work at all. There weren't enough cutlery.
The breakfasts were great. The staff exceptional and friendly. Amazing chef Mike aimed to please. Really a value for money stay. I would definitely recommend Kings Lodge. Sia the receptionist was just the best.
The music in the dining room we asked a few times to turn it down as you could not hear yourself speak.
