Room size. Hot water availability. Staff behavior.

Cons:

Food arrangements. Found iron piece in Matar Masala provided by their in-house food service provider.
There are no views from any room or balcony. No proper sitting arrangements for morning breakfast provided by Hotel. Location is not Upto the mark . No water bottles, no proper toiletries provided. There is no value for money. TV was not working.

Good value for money
Pros:

Small property and can easily be missed, but its surprisingly bang on the center. What surprises is the value for money - the breakfast is amazingly good with all south indian. We stayed there for 2 nights with a family of 20 people spread across 3 rooms, and we were not disappointed. There are some small shops around for any quickies (curd, cigarette, coffee, snacks etc) and to reach the center its like less than 1km of walk.

Clean rooms & beds, clean washrooms, 24 hour running hot water, excellent location and breakfast. staff is courteous.

Cons:

Does not have a lift - so if you are not on the ground floor and/or have mobility issues, it can become a challenge.
TV is a bummer - its some unknown model - streaming does not work.

Very aggressive to collect payment,before check in. I booked room to pay at the property but they insist to do Advance payment.Fan not working, mattress and pillows are very dirty..Wash basin leaking.when i entered the room i saw the dust bins with waste,rooms are very smelly. Requested to change the room,they were refused .Total waste of Money.highly disappointed.Here after I will not go With bookings.com.No sleep on that day....highly disappointed..I Never recommend Ashok palace and bookings.com.
