We are still deeply impressed by our stay at Simera in Cappadocia Hotel – Simera Exclusive Lounge & Rooftop.
That rare feeling when a place immediately feels right –without expectations, without comparisons.

The view from the balcony is pure magic. Morning, silence, Cappadocia slowly revealing itself, calm and gentle, as if just for you. In moments like these, you don’t want to go anywhere –you simply want to be.
And the breakfasts…

They are something truly special. Not just delicious, but filled with care, attention, and that rare sense that someone genuinely tried for you. We can say with confidence: these were the best breakfasts of all our travels.
And of course, Mustafa 🤍

His attentiveness, tact, and sincere desire to make our stay truly warm are remembered just as vividly as the views and the food. This wasn’t about service –it was about attitude. And you could feel it in every small gesture.

Pros:

The hotel provided an authentic stay in Goreme. The rooftop views were awesome. Included in our stay was breakfast which was a delicious turkish one that exceeded our expectations. The staff especially Mustafa were there for every query and acted as a translator with local tour operators. Not forgetting Mohammed and Elvin. Thank you for making our stay a pleasant one.

Absolutely spectacular views from this hotel. The hosts are very responsive and kind, ready to help at all times. They arranged for us a sunrise hot air balloon ride despite it being a last minute request. Thank you- we appreciated it! The rooms however were a bit warm, perhaps because we went in the summer.

Pros:

Everything about this stay was amazing! We were looked after very well and had all the facilities mentioned. Every worker was attentive and made this stay special for us including Mustafa, Elvin, Baysa and even manager Ayse(sorry for spelling mistakes). Communication was very simple and the room was exactly what we wanted. Would definitely recommend for others to book.

A great experience, with lovely staff, a wonderful room, incredible views and some cute kitties.
Pros:

Had an amazing stay here. Travelling in December, we were able to afford the Presidential Suite and it was 100% worth it. Just a beautiful view, we spent a lot of time hanging out on the massive balcony, and it was also walking distance to everything in Uchisar and a short and easily accessible cab ride to Goreme. We were able to book some tourist activities through the hotel, while the breakfast spread each morning was insanely massive for two people and incredibly good. Drinking some nice Cappadocia wine in the massive hot tub with a fire burning and the valley in the background was really special.

Cons:

Nothing - the room, the staff and the location was amazing.

If there is one place I would return to without a second thought, it is Simera in Cappadocia Hotel
Pros:

What can I say about this hotel? First of all, it is in a prime location in Uçhisar, set on an elevated area with perfect sunrise views and a spectacular sight of the hot-air balloons.

Beyond the beautiful setting, Mr. Yunus is one of the best hosts I have ever met. He genuinely cares about his guests and provides exceptional service. As this was my first visit to Türkiye, he offered helpful guidance and shared valuable tips for getting around Cappadocia.

I highly recommend this hotel, and if you stay here, be sure to ask for Mr. Yunus. You will not be disappointed.

Cons:

There is truly nothing to dislike about this place. And even if something small does arise, it is easily overshadowed by the exceptional customer service provided by the hosts.

Amazing experience
Pros:

The venue is situated at a good point giving a view of the entire region and also the balloons in the morning. The rooms are classic, spacious and clean and just as it is shown in the pictures.

The staff especially Hotel manager Ayse was extremely helpful and sweet. She surprised us with a special gesture and cake for my partners birthday.

The breakfast was a spread and delicious. Mustafa at the reception was very helpful and great customer service.

I would recommend this hotel for everyone for their absolutely clean, traditional, spacious, and comfortable rooms. The staff is also equally well mannered and supportive.

Це був номер з розряду мрії. Неймовірно гарний краєвид на шари та Гореме вранці о 6.
Крутезна величезна джакузі, навіть 2 джакузі в номері. Я була в захваті! Романтика та насолода!

Камін в номері створював романтику.

Персонал ввічливий та відзивчивий. Дякую. З вами приємно. Хочеться до вас повертатися.

Cons:

Номер видно, що вже втомився. В ванній забиті всі зливи. Вода не йде. Розламане обладнання, яке не підтримується та не оновлюється.
Як для президентського номеру не вистачало косметики в ванній.
А ще хотілося б мати столік на веранді.
Дуже брудні декоративні подушки, та покривала. Було не приємно їх використовувати.

Шикарний камін в номері, за запал якого прийшлося заплатити 600 лір! Як так?

Турецький сніданок, але він якийсь біднуватий. Каву не пропонують, чаю налили всього 1 склянку і треба було випрошувати ще. Коли ми в третій раз за чаєм пішли, то офіціанти вирішили поставити нам чайніка на стіл.
Накрили на 2 а не на 4, бо в нас маленькі діти, і мабуть, вирішили, що 1 стакана на 2 вистачить. Чи діти за клієнтів не вважаються. На 2 дорослих всього 3 відварені яйця. А все інше- хліб і джеми. Після сніданку ми відправилися снідати.
