Pros:

Die Lage war traumhaft, alles sehr sauber und das Personal sehr freundlich.
Es lohnt sich einige Tage an diesem wunderschönen Ort zu verbringen.
Das Essen sehr gut zubereitet und immer schön und freundlich bedient/serviert worden.☀️☀️☀️

Cuidado con este hotel!
Cons:

Cuidado con este hotel! El día de la entrada al hotel nos cancelaron la habitación!
El motivo que habían reservado más habitaciones que las que tenían, osea que si reserváis tener mucho cuidado que no os quedéis en la calle como nosotros.

AVOID, AVOID, AVOID - Don't believe the glitz and glamour advertised

We did not get to stay at the Ventus as our booking was cancelled by the hotel on our arrival at check in. We were asked to check our email by the hotel staff and an email had been sent 9 minutes prior to our arrival at the hotel unbeknownst to us, informing us of the cancellation!! "Apparently" it was due to a booking system error, however, I had received numerous communication from the hotel conforming our stay.

The hotel manager offered to pay for an alternative stay for us (cheaper rate), offered us breakfast there the next day and promised being able to have a room provided at the hotel until 4.00pm the next day. We thought this was reasonable considering the position we were put at the very last minute, so accepted.

Breakfast was poor quality, took a long time and the coffee... I am not sure you can even call it coffee. It was terrible.

We asked when the room would be ready so that we could put our bags inside and were told it would be ready by 12.00pm. To save a lot of going back and forth, we arrived back at the hotel at 12.45pm to be told by the manager that we would only have the room until 2.00pm. We reminded him that he had promised us that we could have it until 4.00pm, he told us that we "needed to be understanding" as they had other guests arriving. I actually don't think we could have been any more understanding of the situation!!!

The room was 'ok'. On first glance it looks nice and then when you look closer we noticed many signs of wear and tear/lack of maintenance. The pillows had hairs and yellow stains on them. The walls had holes and various marks on them. In the bathroom, the tap was not properly connected as the sink had a huge crack in it and was filthy around the sealed edge.

The hotel also advertises that it has an indoor swimming pool - we were told it was not possible to use because it was too hot??!!

Pros:

Litt spesielt å tilbringe overnattingen i havet, det var litt anderledes.

Cons:

Litt slitt og maling flasset av fra vegg.
Vannet forsvant det siste døgnet.
De serverte middag fra restauranten i ute området på hotellet og der hadde vi balkong, ble litt kleint å sitte på balkongen se rett i øynene til gjestene.
De serverte frokost med bestilling fra meny, jeg var ikke noen tilhenger av det.
Men noen liker det og noen liker ikke.

Die Idee so ein Hotel zu errichten

Cons:

Kein Wasser beim duschen inakzeptabel !
30 Minuten auf das Frühstück zu warten und dann kaltes Omelett erhalten! Hotel muss renoviert werden!
Es müffelt in der ganzen Stadt! Für Europäer nicht empfehlenswert. Personal wenigstens sehr bemüht

Pros:

Das Hotel ist einzigartig aufgrund seiner Architektur! Über den Steg, direkt am Meer wohnen! Der Ausblick vom Restaurant ist toll! Ebenfalls vom Zimmer, obwohl unseres das Seitlichste war und wir so auch auf das Café Restaurant gesehen haben. In der Nähe gibt es viele Lokale, auch der Strand ist zu Fuß zu erreichen. Am Abend sind die Brücke und das Hotel toll beleuchtet.

Cons:

Am Zimmer hat unser WLAN nicht funktioniert, obwohl bei der Rezeption und im Restaurant ein guter Empfang war. Als Entschädigung haben wir 2 Gläser Wein und einen großen Obstteller erhalten! 🤩

I would have paid money now not to repeat the horrible experience

The location, it worths the visit ( restaurant, cafe), but does not worth to stay in it.

Cons:

Old and dirty

Noisy

Smells like fish (not sea)

Wall to wall with the main kitchen (smells like cooking)

Some staff members are rude

Curtains bring in the light to the room not blocking it

No privacy

No telephone in the room (no room service)

Can not keep the room cool during summer
because they only give you one card to turn the electricity on

Het ontbijt en de locatie waren super! Midden in zee, een a la carte ontbijt wat met liefde gemaakt en gebracht werd. Supervriendelijk personeel. Een fijn terras boven de zee, visjes die je ziet zwemmen..een mooie loopbrug naar restaurants en de strandjes.

Cons:

Er was een totaalrenovatie aan de gang, de hele bovenverdieping was gesloopt en elke ochtend rond 8h begonnen de werken, de kamers waren zwaar verouderd, er werd niet gepoetst, de badkamer was vuil met een soort wormpjes die tot leven kwamen als ze in contact met water kwamen. De lambrizering was terug tegen de muren geplakt met purschuim. Dingen die je op de foto's niet ziet.
