Flott kortreist frokost, lekker sauna og personlig service.
The host was super kind and welcoming. Breakfast was great, with lots of Norwegian specialities to try.
The place is nice and quiet, and the lake terrace is perfect for just hanging out and relaxing.

Das Frühstück war okay, aber der Hype darum war echt nervig.
Absolut nicht tierfreundlich, außer dass ne Schale mit Wasser vor der Tür stand. Unser Bier mussten wir auf dem Zimmer trinken oder außerhalb der Anlage. Man fühlte sich beobachtet , ob man was falsch macht.

We had a wonderful time. Cozy, clean room, excellent breakfast, and incredibly friendly staff. The sauna was a real highlight. Highly recommend!
Perfect stop over. Great staff. Shame I missed breakfast! Unique place to stay but glad I got to experience it. Even better if you like photography.

The owner was welcoming, knowledgeable about the local area, and took obvious pride in her unique accommodation. The entire hotel was absolutely charming, filled with glimpses of the hostess's avid interest and skill in photography. Two rooms with photo exhibits also enhanced our experience.
I would ve liked the sauna to have been included in the price or at least clearly indicated that there would be an extra charge of 250 nok per person.
Also- although dogs are welcome- there is quite limited access anywhere for them. That's understandable, yet it did limit our overall experience.

We loved our time at SAGA. We had an excellent time talking with the owner and other guests. The location was perfect for the golden road. Breakfast was delicious. We would absolutely come back.
Small and friendly place with all you need. The hostess takes care of you personally and serves a great breakfast with local food. Plenty of photography art to look at and to read about. Walking distance to shops, restaurants and a beach. The house is practically on the water in the nature. And a nice living room where you can enjoy a glass of wine or a local beer.
Local and home made breakfast, served with care in the cozy living room. Quiet room with good bed, clean and spacious shared bathroom. Nice sofa corner with photography books. Lovely outdoor area on the sea.
