Pros:

actually its a restroom of a spring spa located in a suburb area where there is no accessible to any public transportations. the hygience was bad and 20+ people sleep in a big room. Service was low and food was not dilicious.
by the way, you have to pay for a shower or a bath.

nothing to recomment.

Pros:

Aunque está lejos, se puede ir andando al centro siguiendo el rio y es estupendo el paseo. Para ir en 10 minutos a la estación ofrecen gratis un shuttle bus, lo cual es maravilloso. El spa es genial con pozas a distintas temperaturas. La habitación tiene mucha gente pero hay silencio.uy buena temperatura.

Me gustó todo. Es un sitio muy curioso e incluso dan un pequeño desayuno gratis de café soluble o té y una rebanada de pan de molde al tostador con margarina y mermelada. Un detalle

I couldn’t make myself stay here - due to the incorrect description I had to spend a fortune on an alternative

Incorrect information on the description. Studio one bed - One person room. This turned out to be a bed in a dormitory. I thought it would be a room in a hostel for a single person from the description. They found me a room with no windows and not very nice looking futons which was accessed directly from an arcade and restaurant.

Very bad, and falsely advertised.
Pros:

The staff were friendly (although had no English language skills so knowing a bit of Japanese was key).

Cons:

The room was sold as a studio room for 1 person but instead was a bunk bed dormitory for a couple dozen individuals. It was hot, there were no curtains to gain even the slightest bit of privacy, and perhaps worst of all no plug sockets for individual beds. I left after 10 minutes.

Cons:

This was not a hostel, but bunk beds at onsen. There is not free services included, you have to pay 800 yen for going to onsen if you want to shower. I was sold a studio, but I got a dormytory. What a scam.
