Excellent service, rooms are very standard but for the price I paid, definitely worth it.
Pros:

The staff were very friendly and helpful. I needed to drive to the shop to get something and they let me borrow their bike. The check-in was very quick. Was in my room within minutes of arriving.

Cons:

They didn't have an iron available but they had an ironing service which was quick. I was in the mood for a snack when we got back to the room and they only had pot noodles which I'm not keen on but my wife loved it.

The pool, staff, beach location, room itself was amazing. By far my favorite hotel in Vietnam (and I went from Ho Chi Minh, Da Nang, Hoi An & Hanoi). Dong Hoi & Duy Tan is the BEST, with the kindest staff ever

Beach front and pool is amazing

Cons:

Some event or something was going on, on the Friday very loud would have been nice to get a warning but other than perfect.

a hotel past it’s prime
Pros:

clean room but not one element of decor in room

Cons:

There was a concert organized in the inner courtyard (unknown to me) and the hotel was practically empty but I still was given an inner courtyard room. Music blaring until late.
Hotel needs a fresh coat of paint as it’s age is showing.
Front desk only said “so sorry” at checkout but I’m not sure
