Very good location as it's practically by the road/food shops, a bus stop and also a 10min walk from Mawella Beach, one of my favourite beaches in Sri Lanka. The staff is very friendly, the owner is a cool guy, had the pleasure to chit chat with him
The WiFi connection is poor, when it's there

They could check a bit more the toilet that is of common use. Sometimes might need more flushing. Good to keep an eye on this
A lovely place to stay in Tangalle. Peace Calm and serenity down here, full of wild life everywhere and well located next to the beach. The owner of the place was very helpful and has a very good English. Very nice staying in here and price really affordable. I warmly recommend this place if you are visiting Tangalle, I wish I could come back here in the future !
Janith was a perfect host. He was there 24/7 to help us with everything. Also the location was perfect, you feel like you are in the middle of the jungle. But when you walk 5 minutes you come to the most perfect beach.
Had a great time. It's super chilled and Lucky is a very attentive and always looking to help in any way. He also cooks some great food!
Amazing quiet location, walking distance to the nearby beach by a lovely junglely footpath where I saw monkeys, loads of crabs, many birds, varano lizards and even two small snakes (inoffensive). Easy to get bus to nearby surfing beaches like Kudawella and Hirikrtyia or to Tangalle. Amazing kind and helpful staff and delicious food.
The room I stayed in has a window facing a brick wall which is a bit sad with such a lovely environment and garden around the house... But to be fair I didn't spend that much time in the room anyway.

It was perfect. The property is relaxed, quiet and surrounded by a beautiful garden and nature. Even though it feels like it, it is not far off the nearby cities (10 min by scooter) and small shops and restaurants can be found all around. You can easily go to Mawella beach by foot (3-5 minutes). We recommend renting a scooter to make full use of other nearby beaches. However, there are lots of buses for that as well. Everything is clean. The hosts are extremely welcoming, friendly, helpful, and easy to talk to. They make you feel home.
Great location near to a very quiet and beautiful beach. The property is great, and the hammock and seating in the garden area are a great touch! We really enjoyed the food and would recommend trying the optional dinner at least once: it was one of the best rice and curries we had in Sri Lanka. The hosts are really helpful and offer assistance with organising lots of local activities, including kayaking on the lagoon close by.

Beautiful homestay near a calm beach. It has a nice garden and hammocks to chill in during the day. The best part about the stay were the hosts and the food!
The beds were quite old and made noise by every movement.
The room was very simple but clean. But for that price we didn't expect anything else. The owner was very friendly and helpful.
Breakfast. It's ridiculous to ask $4 USD for one(!) egg and tiny bit of pineapple in Sri Lanka (whole pineapple costs Rs. 15 Sri Lanka rupees and 10 eggs about Rs. 50... what's like $0.2 USD)
