Pros:

This is a quaint property, lots of monkey’s early morning and palm squirrels around.

Cons:

You cannot swim in the sea here it’s too rough, breakfast orders are taken the night before and it is in a beautiful but very remote location. Rooms look a lot bigger in the photos.

Pros:

Der Strand ist zwar schön und ruhig, jedoch ist Baden wegen bis zu 3 m hoher Wellen und starker Strömung kaum möglich.

Cons:

Die Unterkunft entspricht eher einem einfachen Beach Guest House als einem 4-Sterne-Hotel.

Keine richtige Rezeption, eingeschränkter Service, Zimmerreinigung nur auf Anfrage und insgesamt renovierungsbedürftig.

Zusätzlich werden bei Kartenzahlung 3 % berechnet, und es gibt keine transparente Abrechnung – lediglich handschriftliche Tages-Endbeträge auf einem Zettel.

Für 2–3 Nächte okay, für längere Aufenthalte nicht zu empfehlen. Insgesamt deutlich überteuert.

Great location - a few upgrades would help match the price level
Pros:

The location was fantastic, and we loved that it was a small place with only six rooms. Very quiet and peaceful. The beach is beautiful, and you can take long walks along the shore. The waves are very rough, so it’s not suitable for swimming. The pool and pool area was clean and the surroundings were beautiful.

Dimantha and Ridmal were sooo nice to us and our kids, really heartwarming. Without them our stay would not have been the same.

Cons:

The sun loungers were extremely worn out, broken, and uncomfortable—both by the pool and on the beach. The beds were also very hard, and some upgrades here would definitely help match the price level.
Otherwise, the food was okay, though the selection was a bit limited if you don’t eat meat. Also, don’t book the car service from here—it’s extremely expensive (about double the price compared to all the other hotels we booked through during our trip around Sri Lanka).

Hotel molto isolato, piacerà a chi cerca solo tranquillità
Pros:

Se cercate un hotel molto isolato, affacciato su chilometri di spiagge incontaminate, con bella piscina, camere moderne, bagni europei, un discreto ristorante e una buona colazione questo è il posto che fa per voi.

Cons:

Ma dovete anche mettere in conto che il villaggio più vicino è a 15 minuti di tuk tuk (500 rupie a tratta) e Tangalle a 25 minuti (2000 rupie a tratta). Poco affidabile il servizio prenotazione tuk tuk gestito dall'albergo (sperimentati ritardi sino a 40 minuti).Wifi altalenante, soprattutto la sera. Frequenti le interruzioni di corrente, con camere al buio mediamente per brevi periodi. Personale giovane e cortese ma probabilmente non del mestiere. Insetti (vespe) in bagno.

Sehr erholsamer und entspannter Urlaub.
Pros:

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Lage direkt am wunderschönen leeren Strand ist ein Traum. Die Unterkunft ist genau wie auf den Bildern dargestellt. Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit und nochmals ein Dankeschön an Johan und sein Team.

10/10 – Absolut empfehlenswert!
Unser Aufenthalt war rundum perfekt! Das Essen war ausgezeichnet – frisch, abwechslungsreich und geschmacklich ein echtes Highlight. Das Personal war überaus freundlich, stets bemüht und unglaublich zuvorkommend, was den Aufenthalt noch angenehmer gemacht hat. Das gesamte Hotel war äußerst sauber und gepflegt – man merkt sofort, dass hier viel Wert auf Qualität gelegt wird. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich den traumhaften Strand: feinster Sand, klares Wasser und eine sehr entspannte Atmosphäre. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Gorgeous hotel right on the beach
Pros:

Really lovely hotel right on the most gorgeous beach! Food was yummy and not too expensive considering the isolated nature of the hotel from the town. The staff were lovely especially Yohan.

Cons:

Very isolated from Tangalle town, make sure to keep this in mind if booking as you can't just walk to a shop to get bits! Good for a two night stay probably wouldn't recommend for any longer.

The real paradise!

Wspaniałe miejsce!
Pros:

Wspaniałe miejsce na prawdziwy odpoczynek. Miejsce delikatnie oddalone od centrum, ale ma to swój urok. Kilka domków powoduje, że czujecie się jakbyście byli w hotelu sami. Prywatna plaża, szum morza, świetne jedzenie no i ta obsługa.
Każdy z pracowników zasługuje na 5 gwiazdek, zawsze uprzejmi i uśmiechnięci.
W szczególności Tiran i Yohan. Wspaniali ludzie!

Charmant établissement à taille humaine mais quelques points à améliorer
Pros:

Le cadre de la piscine est magnifique, entourée de cocotiers, propice à la détente.
La chambre était spacieuse, très propre et confortable.
L’établissement est à taille humaine et le gérant, attentif, a fait de son mieux pour me satisfaire.
N’ayant réservé qu’une nuit et restant moins de 24 h, je n’ai cependant pas pu pleinement apprécier l’ensemble des lieux.

Cons:

Le petit déjeuner n’est pas à la hauteur et la quantité est très insuffisante. De plus, une assiette de fruits est proposée, mais lorsque j’ai demandé à retirer certains fruits, elle n’a pas été réajustée avec les autres.
La chambre peut donner une sensation d’enfermement, car elle ne dispose que d’une seule fenêtre.
Le robinet de la douche fonctionne de manière particulière, émettant du bruit, et le débit d’eau est extrêmement faible.
Le niveau sonore de la musique dans la salle de restauration lors des repas est trop élevé et, à mon avis, inutile, il rend plutôt l’ambiance moins raffinée qu’elle pourrait l’être.
Rapport qualité/prix un peu décevant.

Diese Unterkunft ist ein wahres Juwel an einem menschenleeren, naturbelassenen Strand. Die stilvolle Einrichtung, die ruhige Atmosphäre und das fantastische Essen, schaffen den perfekten Ort zum Entspannen. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt! Johan war einfach fantastisch, er erfüllte jeden Wunsch und machte unseren Aufenthalt zu etwas ganz Besonderem. Egal, ob wir Hilfe bei der Organisation eines Taxis zur nahegelegenen Klinik benötigten oder einfach nur Tipps für die Umgebung wollten, Johan war immer zur Stelle und der Mann für alle Fälle. Wir können diese Oase nur wärmstens empfehlen und kommen auf jedenfall wieder.
