Hidden Garden Tangalle

L’environnement autour du logement était magnifique. Notre gîte était très confortable et propre; nous avons pu nous y reposer en toute tranquillité. La piscine était superbe, les enfants ont beaucoup aimé y jouer. Le soir, nous avons également pu profiter d’une agréable balade en kayak sur le lac qui borde le logement. De plus, la mer est toute proche. Nos hôtes ont été fantastiques: tout le monde était toujours au petits soins pour nous, et les petits déjeuners ont été les meilleurs que nous avons pu déguster au Sri Lanka. Nous recommandons vivement ce logement.

A little place in paradise. Unfortunately we stayed only 2 nights. We stayed in the off season so had the place almost completely to ourselves. Beautiful well maintained and large rooms with very comfortable beds ( with mosquito nets) and a good shower. There were a few ants around in the bedrooms but I think that’s to be expected considering it is in the middle of an amazing jungle like garden next to the lagoon. Loved to explore the lagoon with the free kayaks and swim in the absolutely amazing pool.
Amazing breakfast prepared by the most friendly young ladies. Although it was off season we loved having coffee next to the amazing beach where you could play in the waves and swim at the more sheltered beach further in town. Several restaurants were open and really recommend Mango Shade a few minutes walk from the accommodation.
We were all really sad to leave and I hope to return for a longer stay next time. Overall this was our favourite place during our 3 weeks holiday in Sri Lanka.

La vue sur le jardin est magnifique, le personnel adorable, la piscine sublime, l’emplacement à deux pas de la plage et des restaurants idéal, le massage somptueux, la virée en kayak au milieu des oiseaux très agréable et le petit-déjeuner délicieux. Merci !

The property is a short walk from the beach. The staff were nice, the breakfast was good. The pool looked nice, but we didn't get to use it.

Tout! L'emplacement au calme dans un magnifique jardin, la longue et magnifique plage a 30 mètres de l’hotel.
Le petit déjeuner copieux et divin.
La piscine grande, propre et belle au milieu des manguiers.
La gentillesse des propriétaires et du personnel.
La propreté des chambres.
Possibilité de faire du kayak sur le lagon.
Si le paradis existe, il est ici.

Absolument tout, l’extrême gentillesse du personnel, la localisation parfaite (a deux pas d’une plage très tranquille), le petit déjeuner, la beauté du lieu en general. Énorme coup de coeur !

Eine perfekte Lage zwischen Meer und Lagune- wunderschöner Garten- sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Menschen- Möglichkeit zu Yoga- Gratisnutzung von Kajaks auf der Lagune- ein magisch schöner Ort!

The breakfast was really good value and across the 4 days they got used to our preferences.
A great find in Tangalle away from the road to make the resort very quiet.
Would definitely stay again when in the area.

Absolutely beautiful property, just steps from the beach. The gardens were so amazing with wildlife and birds abound. Host was lovely, breakfast delicious.

Sehr schöne Anlage direkt neben den Mangroven. Der Gastgeber ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Es sind nur 200 m zum Strand..Frühstück war sehr gut. Zum Abendessen sind viele Restaurants fußläufig in der Nähe.

Die wunderschöne Anlage liegt versteckt direkt an der Lagune. Zum strand sind es zu Fuß nur 2 Minuten.
Es ist sehr ruhig, das Personal und der Eigentümer sind unfassbar freundliche und hilfsbereite Menschen.
Wir kamen an und haben uns auf Anhieb so wohl gefühlt, dass wir direkt eine Nacht verlängert haben.
Grandioses Frühstück!

We had wonderful stay at Hidden Garden Tangalle. Our room was on second floor with a balcony where we could sit in the shade and enjoy the view of the beautiful garden full of palm trees and flowers. It was magnificent. The room was very well planned with large bed with mosquito net, a fridge, table chairs, a large bench with water cooker and plenty of room to keep organized. The room also had a ceiling fan and AC. The bathroom was also very nice. Everything was very clean and had a fresh scent of flowers.

The garden have several small houses and nice pool. We got a very nice breakfast that was served in the 'admin' house. The breakfast was included in the price. It was a combination of western / Sri Lankan and very good.

At your stay you can borrow a canoe to paddle in the lagoon or you can join a class yoga.

The location of the hotel is 150 m from the beach. A small path leads you there. Along the beach there is a small street with lots of restaurants of different kind. This is avery nice part of Tangalle. I can highly recommend a stay at Hidden Garden

La piscine, les extérieurs en pleine nature, la tranquillité, gentillesse du personnel- Super emplacement proche des restaurants et de la plage (protégée par une digue)- très bon petit déjeuner.

Came for 2 days, stayed for 6 - which should say it all. Just in case you need more: great hotel + breakfast, great lagoon + free kayaking, great location.
