Some kind of easier access to the ocean for swimming - the rocks were so bad (slippery) that it felt dangerous getting in and out of the water even when calm. I get that the beach is not technically part of the property - but 3 metres away means swimming and snorkelling part of the overall attraction. Some kind of thought to a ramp, or even a simple rope system to hold on to would be great.
The setting is paradise. The staff are professional and so lovely. Food amazing. Sunrises just stunning. Such a fantastic place just to relax.
Beautiful villas in lovely gardens on the ocean edge. Staff were amazing and friendly, it was a joy to spend time with them. Peaceful paradise.

Stunning hotel, better than the pictures, with lots of palm trees and the sea just there. Half board food (breakfast and dinner) were ok. Staff was always nice and helpful, they even agreed to change my initial room, so extra points for that.
I was hoping there would be more people around. In addition, while it is amazing to sleep with the sea right next to you, it was a bit scary - giving the impressions the waves are just in your room. But once asleep, everything was ok.
Amazing location highly recommend to get away from the tourist hubs. We Imagine this was what Bali was like 20 years ago. Massages one of the best we had on our month long stay in Bali. Cool sea breeze.
The food here was excellent don't get me wrong. Also the cook was one of my favourite staff members, but it felt a bit school camp being a buffet at set times. Although I did order off the menu once outside of these hours and had one of the best Nasi Gorengs of our month long trip ! So maybe it's not what to dislike just to point out you get a bit spoiled at the more mainstream resorts down south for food and beverage choice compared to here.
Only real complaint is that you could see into our shower from the adjoining bungalow 😬. This could easily fixed with a small privacy screen
It was so deeply relaxing. Having my own bungalow all to myself that was literally feet away from the ocean was magnificent. Sleeping to the sound of crashing waves and waking up to the most gorgeous sunrise was pure heaven!
It was a little bit hard to find once you turned down the ‘driveway’. My driver and I went back and forth a bit. A clearer sign for parking for dropping of Gaia Oasis guests for off loading their bags near the little pathway to reception would be really helpful.
Beautiful secluded resort, which is completely off the beaten tourist track. What appealed is the fact that the resort is a wellness type of resort that is particularly suited for those seeking calmness, and being truly away. Also it is non-profit and gives back to local society whilst maintaining very high service standards. From the moment we entered the resort, it felt like being in another world. It is very peaceful in beautiful surroundings, directly at the beach. From your room you can see the sea which is about 30m distance. Rooms are very clean, large, well appointed and have daybeds outside. Restaurant is of good quality with a lot of offerings and excellent service. We did various tours (snorkeling, dolphin watching and tour of the region) - all was arranged by the resort and the experiences were amazing. A local fisherman guided us on a private snorkeling and dolphin watching tour - very nice and knowledgeable, eg the dolphin watching at 6am sunset is unforgettable. The day tour was very well arranged and private and gave us a lot of local insights and experiences that you will not typically get - all done by a fantastic driver/guide. All in all, highly recommended if you are looking for a beautiful, quiet resort outside any tourist area.

Lack of air conditioning in the afternoons can be quite challenging, the location of the resort is quite remote, be prepared to hire a driver to head to certain tourist destinations. Food in the resort could be improved
I loved how this cottage with right on the beach, such a stunning view. I loved everything about this resort. The staff was super kind, the breakfast was delicious and they agreed to make vegan pancakes. A nice restaurant close by is vegan too. The rooms were super comfortable and beautiful and the outside bathroom was great too! Perfect and highly recommended.
