Handy for the town and also the sea front. Staff were welcoming and friendly... Nice room. Food excellent and price reasonable.
There was not anything that I did not like
It was close to everything in that area plus it had parking 👍
Nice polite staff, clean accommodation, comfy double bed
Breakfast was good
Nice supply of condiments in room though kettle had to boil on the floor
The room was very small and cramped, no wardrobe to hang clothes up, though a few hangers were supplied on some hooks.
Lighting was poor, and didn't help as lamp didn't work,
Fantastic breakfast. The room was very comfortable. Perfect location.
Everything I love this place the staff the food the room the apmospher is incredible ❤️

Not staying longer 😔
Food delicious and beautifully presented. Staff really really friendly. Good car parking.
The light in the bathroom was a little faulty. That's all really.
Location and quaintness
Pebbled shower tray. Furniture would benefit from make over or at least cosmetic improvements.
Good breakfast - plentiful.
Unfortunately food wasn't served on the days we were there but the food in The King Arthur was excellent (visited 2nd week of March so out of season).
The place is lovely very Quirky, clean and lovely staff who were very accomodating and friendly.
Great lication in a beautiful village
We were sent a link to book for dinner on the first night we stsyed which was supposed to be abke to order an evening meal. We had travelled over 5 hours and were hungry. The link let us put in the date then popped up that dinner wasnt avaiable on Monday and Tuesdays. So no point in sending the link. However there was a lovely pub a coupke of doors up where the 4 of us ate for two nights.
The only other critisism is that the towels were tiny! They did the job but very small.
It was ok
We had a fabulous one night stay to celebrate my 50th birthday. The team at the Olde Malthouse upgraded us to the family suite with a bath and treated us to prosecco at dinner. Freya greeted us when we arrived and made us feel so welcome and comfortable, she made sure we had everything we needed. Our room was exceptionally clean, I mean really clean!!! With tastefully decor and a comfy bed, we sat and watched the sunset from the window seats in our upgraded suite.
Dinner was fabulous, really delicious with smokes olives and home pickled onions in our starter. The wine list was really decent and a cooked Cornish breakfast is included in the room price. Highly recommend staying here, it's very atmospheric, with creaks and knocks, what you'd expect from a 14th century Inn, but a friendly energy. We stayed in room 2 and it was very friendly and comfortable. Enjoy your stay here!
Everything this hotel is absolutely stunning!! Lovely staff, lovely food and beautiful atmosphere!
Comfortable bed, good staff, excellent local beer.
Nowhere to relax- hard chairs, nowhere to read the Sunday paper. Very utilitarian feel to the dining area.
Location was great and staff were helpful and friendly and food was delicious
the old fashioned rooms were stylish and very comfortable
The rooms were very chilly upon arrival but soon amended thanks to helpful staff.
Vegan & gluten free options were limited but staff were more than happy to accommodate as I had some of my own food and suggestions.
