Gostei particularmente do atendimento do Sr. Wenner e da localização.
Nada de especial a relatar
An experience we will not forget, this house is full of history, and interest. The layout of the palace’s rooms authentically take you back in time. The interior design was done some time ago by a famous Portuguese designer, and the high quality of the objects and materials reflect a fine artists touch, and again takes you back in time. Despite the historical feeling, the private bedroom, bath, and sitting area was quite comfortable. Above all of this, the manager is one of the nicest, caring people we have met. He went above and beyond to take care of us. Truly we have not had anyone take such care of us before. I usually don’t write reviews, but I feel it would be wrong of me not too after experiencing such a high level of service.
A wonderful stay in a charming 15th C house. Breakfast was excellent and our host Werner was terrific, even helping us with our transportation issues. Highly recommended.
Nothing.
Hotel is quiet and ideally located. Staff very helpful with parking and restaurant recommendations.
Pool area very nice.
Smell of cigarette smoke in reception.
due to an organisational cock up i was there for 5 mins before changing my mind - i wasn’t there long enough to provide a full rationale - i left as it all seemed rather shabby - still i had to pay the bill as i was on a booking.com no refund deal - so beware !
overly eccentric care taker - rather shabby room with pervasive smell of tobacco
Situated almost at the top of the town of Trujillo, Casa de Orellana is a delight in every respect. It's not often one gets to stay in a 500+ year old building and even less common to find a boutique hotel so well decorated. A great base from which to explore Trujillo, but my recommendation is to enjoy the ambience of the courtyard, with the assistance of some of the brilliant local red wine from one of several delicatessens located less than five minutes from the hotel. Our host could not have been more helpful, including escorting us in and out of the town.
The location is perfect in the old town. It’s a lovely historic property with bags of character. The “suite” is a lovely room with direct access to the wonderful garden and small swimming pool. The owner, Werner, is delightful and even comes to meet you in his car to direct you to the property.
