From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the friendliness and attentiveness of the entire staff. Every team member went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and ensure that every detail of our stay was perfect. Their genuine smiles and willingness to help created such a warm and inviting atmosphere.
The location of the hotel couldn’t be better — ideally situated with easy access to beautiful natural surroundings. Whether we wanted to explore local attractions, take scenic walks, or simply relax, everything was within reach.
The food was absolutely exceptional. Each meal was a delightful experience, with creative dishes, fresh ingredients, and wonderful presentation. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner all exceeded our expectations — a true culinary highlight!
We also loved the variety of activities available in the area. From outdoor adventures and cultural experiences to peaceful spots for relaxation, there was always something exciting to do. The staff gave us great recommendations, which made our days even more enjoyable.
Overall, our stay was unforgettable — a perfect combination of comfort, hospitality, and charm. We can’t wait to come back and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a truly special experience.
Exquisite lakeside property, beautifully looked after by the staff. Vinod and his team went to every length to make our stay magical.
The food is very very good, home made tagliatelle with clams fished from the lake, fabulous curries and a different veg at every meal.
Pool was lovely to swim in with the smell of frangipani wafting from the tree as I did my lengths. We saw otters playing by the jetty every day and fisherman going by or collecting sand.
It is very peaceful and we didn’t end up leaving the property as it was such bliss

Cannot recommend Vismaya enough! The food was the best we ate in India, everything was so fresh and there were beautiful flowers everywhere. Loved spotting chameleons and fireflies with Vinod!

Having to leave
This is the most exquisitely renovated traditional house, now a boutique hotel with two bedrooms. The love and attention to detail that went into the building, as well as how it is run on a day to day basis make this a very special place to stay. Vinod is the consumate host, a perfect manager and wonderful person. His passion for the property is evident in every little thing he does. The owner's kindness to us when our travel plans were thrown into disarray at the last minute was incredible, and much appreciated. I can't wait to go back!

quite expensive, and they could be more transparent with prices. for example before you order dinner or lunch or fresh like soda they could tell you the prices
