Safe stay in Kashi
Pros:

Pros:

One of the best accomodations I had in 2 months in India!
First I need to say that the staff is one of the kindest and most attentive in my whole trip. Always asking if there is anything they can help, or checking if everything is ok in the room.
Location is very very good near Assi ghat, where you can see Ganga Aarti at morning or night. At the time of our stay (first week of October ‘26) the Ganges was very high so many of the ghats were flooded. The Assi ghat is one of the few that were still above the water, and as the accommodation was 10 minutes walking to it, it is very convenient.
To the other famous ghats its like 20/30 minutes walking so very doable and interesting to do it that way.
The room was very clean, and the AC and fan worked perfectly in the heat of Varanasi. There was plenty of hot water with the geyser. At the 2nd floor, without facing the Assi Road it was quiet enough and away from the noise and chaos.
There is included breakfast which is very good and filling! It includes, and omelet, 4 pieces of bread or toast, butter, jam, 2 bananas, one bottled fruit juice, and coffee or tea. They could accomodate masala chai for me per request. All this per person.
They also include a complimentary small water per person every day.
You can have breakfast at the rooftop, or at the room if you prefer. There is a table and chair at the room for eating comfortable. The staff prepared a packed lunch as we departed early the last morning 🙏
You can also order food from apps like zomato and they arrive perfectly at the hotel. The staff helped us talking with the drivers in Hindi in case it was needed.
You can reach the hotel from the train station by car/taxi as the Assi Road is big enough for it.
Considering the price, including such good breakfast and wonderful service, don’t look anywhere else, as this is a great option. It is not luxurious like a 5 star hotel, but the price to quality ratio is unbeatable in the area.

lovely staff and great room in the wonderful city or Varanasi.
Pros:

We had such a great stay at the Ananya. the location was great, the staff were so so helpful and kind. the room were great. We were cooked breakfast everyday and on the last day they even made us a packed lunch. All around a great stay! Thank you we will return!

Pros:

The hotel has a good location—walking distance of the Ganga river.

The staff is very kind and helpful: they assisted us in exchanging currency at a favorable rate and help with booking a taxi. The hotel also serves delicious breakfasts. Since we were leaving early in the morning, they provided us with a packed breakfast to take away. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone!

Die Zimmer und das Bad sind sauber gewesen und zum Übernachten völlig in Ordnung.
Ich habe hier nach einem Kurztrip nach Bodhgaya ein zweites Mal übernachtet, um am nächsten Morgen mit der Bahn weiter zu reisen. Ich staunte nicht schlecht, als mir das Personal beim Einchecken meine Apple AirPods in die Hand drückte, die sie beim Saubermachen gefunden hatten. Ich hatte den Verlust gar nicht bemerkt.
Auch bei allen anderen Fragen ist das Personal überaus hilfsbereit und freundlich.
Das Hotel liegt an einer viel befahrenen Straße. Das hat mich aber nicht gestört.

Pros:

Sonu de gastheer is een hele vriendelijke en behulpzame man. De kamers zien er reeds vernieuwd uit. Het bed lag lekker en de badkamer was goed! Het ontbijt is uitgebreid. Ook de locatie was super. De Ganges en haar rituelen liggen op loopafstand. Echt een aanrader!

Personalet var hyggelig og svært behjelpelig! Romene var rene og de har en liten søt takterasse man kan benytte. De fleste som jobber der snakker engelsk så vi hadde aldri noe problem med å kommunisere med de.
Vi fikk også vasket klærne våre der, noe som var enkelt og praktisk for oss😊

Cons:

Liten varmtvannstank så hvis flere skal dusje går det fort tomt for varmtvann.

Hôtel très bien placé pour découvrir Varanasi : près des Ghats mais accessible en taxi.
L'hôtel m' a accueillie en pleine nuit "en urgence" alors que je n'avais pas réservé, car ma réservation dans un autre établissement n'avait pas été honorée.
Chambre parfaitement propre, avec eau chaude, clim et ventilateur.
Personnel très serviable et réactif, vraiment attentif au bien-être des clients.
Une de mes meilleures expériences en Inde.
