Pros:

Excellent breakfast and hospitality. We got a very nice dinner the day of arrival very late at night.

Cons:

There was no closet. Bathroom could be improved. Even though the hotel is located nearby sightseeing locations and most important Ghats, the entrance to the hotel puts you off…but Varanasi is like that. In general old furniture. Not good value for money.

Awesome place to stay to explore Varanasi.

The owner took me out on his royal Enfield for a fantastic tour into rural India
Taxis organised, tours and boats on the ganges.
Clean and honest
Could not ask for more

Muy buena ubicación cerca de Assi Ghat y excelente relación calidad-precio. Lo mejor, sin duda, fue el trato de Saurabh y su esposa: amables, cercanos y siempre dispuestos a ayudar. El alojamiento está algo escondido y el acceso es entre callejuelas, pero forma parte también del ambiente de la zona. La habitación y el baño son sencillos, aunque acordes con el precio.

Definitivamente recomiendo alojarse en Gully Ghar, está muy bien ubicado y la atención es excelente, Saurabh es un excelente anfitrión. Siempre estuvo dispuesto a ayudarnos con todas las dudas que teníamos, ofrecen un excelente desayuno, incluso nos prepararon unos huevos fritos sin cargo adicional. Al final de nuestra estadía Saurabh nos obsequió un Khata, el cual es un bonito recuerdo de nuestro paso por India. Sin duda es una excelente opción para hospedarse en Varanasi

It was a wonderful experience and I will be back.
Pros:

I had my own room with air conditioning and a ceiling fan and private bathroom. Every morning and during the day I was greeted with a chai tea that I love so much. Some evenings with masala and lassi ☺️ I was so pampered like never before when traveling. They arranged my tours, transportation and took me anywhere I needed to. They went above and beyond!

There’s nothing I didn’t like 🥹
As a woman and solo traveler for the first time ever, i felt safe and taken care of.

Pros:

The stuff is very helpful and friendly and the location is quiet.

Cons:

There was no toilet shower neither toilet paper in the toilet. Water was running out of the toilet flusher. The room was very small only with a little space to walk around the bed. There was no natural light at all and the lightning was LED kind of light so either too bright or completely dark, so the atmosphere wasn't cozy at all.
