Super séjour
Pros:

Super bien placé à Assi Ghat. Gérant et sa famille aux petits soins. L’établissement est propre et calme. Les chambres sont spacieuses. Et le petit dej sur le roof top est super sympa.

Cons:

Clim pas au too mais ce n’est pas grave. Le ventilateur suffit !

Pros:

Family was super friendly, welcoming and helpful. It’s easy to meet other people at the guesthouse too. A highlight for me was the tour with Vicky. He was excellent, fun, knowledgable and showed me the secrets of Veranasi- beautiful human being.

They have thought of everything and treated me like family!
Pros:

Very welcoming, staff met me on the road, carried my luggage, and walked me through the alleys to the hotel, then served me ginger tea immediately! The rooftop breakfast was delicious and quite generous.
It was super clean with a very comfy bed and all the amenities, hairdryer, electric kettle, TV, AC, fan, shampoo, etc! Sweetie and Saurabh are wonderful hosts and really know how to show hospitality! I have stayed in Varanasi many times and this was THE BEST by far!!
They are very well organized and give you a very detailed written guide to the city. The location is perfect, very close to Assi Ghat, restaurants and shops. It’s beautifully decorated with lovely murals and the blue lights around the bed were very cool. I was on the 4 th floor and could not hear the street noise with the fan on.
The staff are kind, respectful and very helpful. I was very impressed with all the little extras, they have thought of everything!! I would most definitely stay here again and recommend it to my family/friends!! It’s a very happy place with a super warm vibe.

Solid budget option near Assi Ghat
Pros:

Basic but clean rooms, comfortable beds, new AC unit, located in a quiet street away from the chaos. Good breakfast, friendly staff which will offer tours and boat rides without being too pushy. Hot showers (but only for a couple of minutes).

Cons:

It would have been nice to have freshly brewed coffee (rather than instant) and a quality Jam for breakfast (the one provided had a strong chemical taste). Also sheets felt and look a little tired. Occasional smell of sewage from the bathroom but that is common at many facilities in India. There is no toilet brush in the bathroom, again this seems to be the rule in India. Shower heads spray water in all directions and are due for replacement or kalk removal
Beware of other budget facilities that look amazing on pictures. It is common practice in India to heavy photoshop pics in a way that borderlines scams. Pictures of this hotel reflect reality. I would actually say that the facility looks better in real life
Despite the opportunity for improvements this is a solid budget option and I would recommend it to other fellow travelers.

The most welcoming hosts who truly make you feel at home in Varanasi
Pros:

The highlight of this hostel is definitely the hospitality. The owners truly live up to their promise of being a "home away from home." They are incredibly welcoming and made us feel like part of the family, even inviting us to a wedding. The breakfast is delightful; instead of a buffet, they prepare a fresh plate for you, which makes you feel genuinely cared for. Having breakfast on the rooftop early in the morning is a wonderful experience. Additionally, the location is perfect, right at the Ghat, making it very convenient for the Aarti ceremony, boat trips, and yoga. They were also extremely helpful in arranging airport pickups and tours, making everything very easy for us.

Cons:

Since it is a hostel, the structure is simple. It fulfills everything it promises in terms of comfort for a hostel, but you shouldn't expect the luxury or infrastructure of a high-end hotel.

At vores toilet ikke lå inde på værelset men at vi skulle ud på gangen. Men jeg tror det var det eneste der var sådan.

Abbiamo trascorso qui due notti e siamo molto soddisfatti della nostra scelta. Le camere sono pulite e ben arredate, ottima posizione della struttura.
Accoglienza eccellente da parte del personale, davvero disponibile e molto premuroso.
Consigliato il loro tour della città, Viki si è rivelato un ottima guida, molto professionale e appassionato.

Pros:

スタッフが優しくてフレンドリーでした。ボートツアーも手配してくれました。(6人で1人あたり1250ルピーだったので、相場よりは割高ですが、宿泊者とシェアできれば許容かと。)

Cons:

路地を少し中に入ったところにあるので、夜や明け方は野犬リスクが高い。
天井のファンの固定が外れかけており、いつ落ちてくるかとヒヤヒヤしながら眠ることになる。
朝食はルーフトップに案内されるが、階段しかないので結構辛い。
メインガートから少し離れているので、毎日リキシャで片道〜100ルピーかかる。

Thoroughly taken care of
Pros:

Staff all took care of us throughout. Organized ceremony+boat ride, recommended restaurants, brought medicine and let us check out late when we got food poisoning on the last night.
(They also definitely didn't cause the food poisoning)

Heel fijn verblijf.
Pros:

Ontzettend vriendelijke eigenaren, fijn dakterras, goede tour. Wij hadden de heritage tour van Wiki echt een aanrader. Boek je tours vooral hier!

Cons:

Evenementen lokatie achter het hotel, kan je wat geluid van horen. Wij vonden het niet storend.
