The absolutely BEST in Varanasi
Pros:

Amazing, breathtaking view to the river Ganges ! Spectacular location ! Incredible stuff. The owner is extremely helpful and kind ! Believe me, 10 points is just not enough for Dwivedi Palace !

Location, location, location
Pros:

The word “deluxe” is misleading. The view is the most deluxe part of the room. Breakfast and restaurant are both good and the staff as well. The facilities are in need of upgrading. Location is very good.

Overall nice hotel, nice personal. Good price to quality, compared to other hotels in Varanasi
Pros:

We were lucky to get a nice room with a balcony. Many thanks to hotelʼs personal! View and location was really great! Furniture was mostly old fashioned, but clean. Good food in a local restaurant with “not spicy” options and fast room service.

Cons:

It was a bit cold and humid in the room (however AC is available). Sound isolation is not good enough, better to be prepared with earplugs. We had a bit of messy experience with a pickup organized from airport. We were not aware that the last 2 km we have to make by foot (with personal caring our bags, but would be great to be notified upfront). With a bit of stress, we asked to organize a tuk tuk and this decreased the remaining distance.

Non sembra un hotel non ne ha la struttura, non raggiunge i livelli minimi dell accoglienza ne della pulizia. Porte fatte con assi di legno ricoperte di carta plastificata, bagno e sanitari vecchi rotti e sporchi, fili elettrici del boiler scoperti, acqua che esce dalla base del water. 1 comodino, no abatjour, illuminazione a caso. Abbiamo dormito vestite per 2 giorni.Bisogna stare attenti un po alle scimmie ma questo e folcloristico

Pros:

There was absolutely nothing about the property that I liked. The images shown online is very different from the room that we received.

Cons:

The room was absolutely unkept, the tea not maintained at all. I felt as though I may have just mistakenly entered a hotel which charges by the hour.
This hotel was way below expectations.
It takes about 15 minutes to walk from the main road to the hotel, and the path is not a clear path because it goes through narrow lanes. However, two staff members were sent to the main road to assist with the luggage.

Overall, my spouse and me would not recommend this hotel

Good location fantastic staffs but not for families with children
Pros:

Location is very good. Staffs, including the manager, were really helpful.

Cons:

Don’t know where to start. It was so bad that we couldn’t even check in. Paid for 1-day and left for another hotel. Rooms were stuffy; damp, dark. Nothing like shown in the pictures. But, it may be we were expecting a bit too much. Positive though is the help from the staffs. The manager as well made the process smooth. So, no complaints there. I’d say this is not ideal for families with children. Couple or solo travelers should be okay given the fantastic location and beautiful view of the ghat and the Ganges.

Pros:

We had a wonderful stay at Dwivedi hotel. It is ideal for a short stay (1-2 days), situated right on the Ganges Ghats, walkable to all temples and places of historical significance in Varanasi. The hotel staff was courteous and took care of all requests, traversing through the maze of Varanasi streets (a must for all visitors, do watch your feet though), temple darsanam, Ganga aarthi and arrangements for Sarnath tour. Good dinner and breakfast. Value for money. For elder people not ideal due to the walk through the streets, its a long walk, people with lot of luggage will also need help, to carry luggage, the hotel helps in making the arrangements. Strong recommendation for a short stay.

Cons:

For Elderly, the walk through the maze of streets could be tiresome. I should say that we liked it. Also the hotel is not accessible by Autos or Taxi cabs, those with heavy luggage can inform the hotel in advance to help in carrying the luggage.

IT WAS A NIGHMARE AND DURING EVENING CHECK IN WE DID NOT SEE RAT BUT AT NEXT MORNING SITED THEM HORR

THE PROMISED ROOM IN THEIR EMAIL CONFIRMATION WAS NOT ALLOTTED. ROOM GIVEN HAS 21INCH HEIGHT STEPS IN NARROW ALLEWAY LEADING TO THE ROOM TOTAL OF 13 STEPS .IT HAS DAMAGED MY KNEE GOING UP AND DOWN .I AM 65 YEARS OLD PERSON.
THE ROOM WAS FILTHY,DIRTY, TOILET WITH DIRT ALL AROUND AND NAKED HANGING WIRES ,OPEN DRAIN , WORNOUT AND FROSTED MIRROR NEVER CLEANED. ROOM LAYOUT VERY VERY BAD. SO MUCH DIRTY AAND BED INFESTED WITH BED BUGS .HAD HORRIBLE A NIGHT STAY. IN THE MORNING WE WERE HORRIFID TO SEE RATS MOVING FREELY IN THE ROOM.
EXTREMLY DIFFICULT APPROACH TO THE RESTAURANT FOR B/FAST TOTAL ABOUT 23 STEPS OF UNUSUAL HEIGHT .BREAKFAST VERY LIMITED GIVEN ON PLATE POORT QUALITY OF FOOD TASTELESS. ON REQUEST GIVEN SOME FRUIT WHICH WAS NOT RIPE TO EAT. HALF CUP OF TEA AND OR COFFEE WITH B/FAST.
HOTEL IS NOT AT ALL REACHABLE BY ANY TYPE OF VEHICLE BUT ONLY ON FOOT IN NARROW AND WINDING ALLEWAYS FOR 7-900 MTRS WHICH CAN BE NAVIGATED BY ONLY HOTEL STAFF ,VERY DIFFICULT FOR GUESTS TO REMEMBER AND NAVIGATE.
WE COULD NOT STAY TWO NIGHTS AS PLANNED BUT HAD TO CHECK OUT IN HORROR EXPERINCE AND FIND ALTERNATIVE ACCOMMODATION FOR REMAINING ONE NIGHT FOR WHICH WE HAD TO PAY MORE AS LAST MOMENT BOOKING.
HOTEL DID NOT GIVE ANY EXPLANATION FOR THE EXPERINCE NARRATED TO THEM BUT INSISTED WE PAY RS 3000 WHICH WE PAID AT THE CHECK OUT.
THIS HOTEL SHOULD NOT BE LISTED BY ANY PORTAL IT HAS MISLEADING CLAIMS .

The ganga view from the room!! I have traded my comfort for the early morning sunrise view!!!!

Cons:

Restrooms are extremely small and it’s genuinely difficult to use the commode comfortably. The approach roads are also narrow and tricky, and it feels like comfort has been sacrificed just for the Ganga view from the room.
If you plan to stay here, be prepared to walk at least 40 minutes (to and fro) whenever you want to go out to get food or visit nearby temples, which can be quite tiring.

Overall poor experience
Pros:

Reaching hotel location is very difficult. Room condition is very disappointing.

Cons:

Room size is very small. Also need to share real picture of the room so the customer know exactly where they are going to stay.

Estadía agradable para una noche y con tapones en los oídos
Pros:

- El personal súper amable. Pudimos dejar la valija varias horas después del check out y cuando necesitamos un adaptador eléctrico nos lo dieron.
- La vista es muy bonita (tal cual la foto).
- La ubicación es excelente

For the money, a great stay.
Pros:

The staff is excellent, and very knowledgeable about things to do in the area. They are also incredibly accommodating. The morning breakfast is great, with different options every day. WiFi was great.

Cons:

It is a budget hotel. The rooms are small. We had 3 rooms. One had a good shower, the other two rooms did not have hot water.
