Pros:

Very good breakfast buffet with freshly prepared eggs and lots of choice for bread, croissants and more.
Very nice wellness area (new part, the old part is okay but a bit lacking.
Very nice winter hiking way next to the hotel with candles illuminated.

Cons:

A bit crowded the first evening at dinner. It was better the second evening.
Th dinner (half board) was good, just sometimes a bit too fancy.
Thanks good they proposed some down to earth alternatives (local Appenzeller food)

Das Personal ist extrem freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit! Die Badelandschaft wunderschön und das Essen ein Genuss! Das Frühstücksbuffet war ausgezeichnet und wir bedanken uns beim ganzen Team für die wirklich hervorragende Arbeit die sie leisten! Für uns wäre das Hotel 5 Sterne wert!!

Sowohl das Abendessen wie auch das Frühstück waren absolut hervorragend !!

Eintauchen ins Appenzell
Pros:

Gutes Frühstück und sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter. Brauchtum der Gegend wird im Konzept mit einbezogen und super umgesetzt. Eine wunderbare Deko- und Floristik erfreuten die Augen. Neue Sauna-Landschaft sehr ansprechend (die Liegen sind für meinen Rücken zu hart). Die Nähe zum Bahnhof und die einfache Erreichbarkeit von Appenzell-Stadt (Weihnachtsmarkt) war super.
Der medizinische Masseur hat mir eine andere Theorie zu meinen Gebrechen aufgezeigt. Vielleicht wird es ein Game-changer?

Cons:

Unser Zimmer befand sich gerade unter der Küche. Somit war es am Abend sowie schon früh am Morgen etwas laut. Die Ausssicht war auf ein anderes Dach oder Parkplatz.
